i hate that fandom discourse thats like "u can like bad characters as long as u acknowledge that theyre bad" cuz its like first of all u yell at ppl for liking them even if they do actually do that and secondly im not gonna tack on a disclaimer every time i make a post abt them

Bluesky has the shittiest blocking system fucking ever oh my god. Blocks are public information that any crazy and obsessive person can just look up and start arguments with you about who you blocked because They Can See It. I dont want who i block to be other peoples business and so youd think that softblocking would be the solution but no because when you follow someone its like this hard coded permanent thing thats there forever unless you personally hit the unfollow button yourself. If you block someone who is currently following you they have to stay blocked bc if u block and unblock then the follow status remains intact. Bluesky be like yesss we will enable gangstalkers who are obsessed with checking every single person you do and dont interact with and theres no way to win yay!!!!

People seem to really hate the "nothing exists outside of hometown" theory even though the whole game has been telling you that dark worlds are still meaningful and important even if they "arent real". "If nothing exists outside of hometown then why as a player should i care?" for the same reason that susie cares so much about the dark world. Its still something she and kris experienced and engaged with and even if its not real/tangible its still something that affected them. We play this video game and come online and have these in depth discussions and art and cosplay and whatever else, even if its all fake. Youre already showing that you care for something that isnt real so why would confirmation of this fact make you upset

when i eat a fruit that is particularly sweet and flavorful i will wish that i was a small bug or creature of some kind because then the fruit would be super huge in comparison and that means i could eat so much more of it in comparison to my current size and it would last longer
