In very rare cases a woman can become queen and sole ruler of capias but it it very unlikely to happen. Any non heirs (second born son or daughters) become knights or other high ranking kingdom staff.
Maria manalo was born into the Donare kingdom. Maria, being the only daughter let alone child of her mother, leaving an adult maria in an arranged marriage with fernando herrera. Combining the two kingdoms of donare and capias using the name capias since the women married in. Maria was not necessarily against marrying fernando, at first he was very sweet and maria found herself falling for him as she spent time with him in the castle of capias. The wedding was grand, the whole two combined kingdoms being over joyed by the amazing joining of these two beloved leaders. After some time of marriage maria had started to show symptoms of pregnancy. Fernando was over joyed, maria was happy to be carrying on her and her husbands lineage. After the birth of a baby girl maria was panicked. The mid wife of maria knew that fernando would not tolerate a daughter. So, to protect the baby girl the mid wife and maria came up with a plan to hide it from fernando. “Its a boy!” The midwife exclaimed. Fernando was pleased. “He will be named marquez santiago herrera of capias! A strong name for a strong boy!”As time went on fernando begain to become suspicious of marquez. As a child marquez looked and acted like all other boys, but as he grew he remained smaller in size and muscle compared to the other boys his age. Marquez had also begain to bleed. Marquez, not knowing what was happening to his body, went to his parents in a panic. Fernando knew in that moment. After that he felt lied to and betrayed. He began to ignore his wife and son entirely, having a cold and mean tone any interaction they did have. As this had gone on, maria had found her eyes lingering on the back of her personal knight, Dimitri karamazov. The result of this curiousity, lust, and need for love resulted in a boy. This boy was light, too light to be fernandos. This child must be secret. The child soon to be named andre Karamazov, and growing up raised to be the son of a respected knight, expected to follow in his fathers footsteps. Later on in time fernando had attacked maria. All his anger and frustration from the years of their marrige had boiled over. Marquez from the ofher room hearing the commotion had reacted immediately defending his mother. During the fight between marquez and fernando his father fernando realized marquez did not have the body of a boy. Marquez, was a female. In anger he assaulted Marquez. Marquez after the fact was in shock. Seeing his mothers lifless body next to him he became enraged. Weeks pass and that anger had not faded. Fernando found multiple letter maria had written to dimitri and vise versa, speaking of andre, the only “male” left to inherit the crown in fernandos eyes. Marquez being informed of this news added a teing of sadness to his anger, Marquez had always dreamed of being king one day. Marquez loved his kingdom. At the funeral for maria fernando had spoke on her death, depicting her to be treasonous made marquez make up his mind. After fernando had gone to sleep, Marquez snuck in and ended his fathers life. But andre had already been chosen as next of kin being 18 while marquez was 16. After years have past, marquez had turned 18 and having been trained as aknight since child hood he was expected to be become one as well.
