i’ve mentioned this book before - ‘save the cat’ by blake snyder, but i do also want to recommend syd field’s ‘screenplay’ and john yorke’s ‘into the woods: a five act journey into story.’

I’m in the US and I crossed out entire states.

I’m in the UK, but our college’s deadline for choosing universities is in November, and although I still have no idea what I want to do with my life, I was struggling to figure out how to narrow things down, and this has helped immensely. Thank you so much!

It’s called Sans Forgetica! Designed by a team of researchers at Australia’s Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, whose idea was to create a slightly more difficult reading experience, forcing the reader to absorb each word as they stare at it. [x]

I also haven’t really been studying much (the photos above are from summer MCAT studying) because of the chaos that is the rest of my life. Surprisingly though, I’ve been doing fairly well in my classes so maybe I’m finally learning how to work smarter and not harder. I’ve had to write more papers this quarter than any other, and I have rediscovered my hidden talent of pulling papers out of nowhere the night before they’re due HAHA

Are you ready for 2020?

whether you’re just finishing your first semester, or you’re a senior, or anything in between, be proud of the progress you’ve made. college is not easy, not even close. any accomplishment is a great one. don’t be discouraged by any future worries and be happy with everything you’ve done so far. i’m proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself!
