LITERALLY JUST FINISHED CATCHING UP WITH ALL THE AVAILABLE EPISODES AND NOW IM STARING OUT OF THE WINDOW AT IMAGINARY RAIN AS I TRY TO PROCESS THE FACT THAT IM GONNA HAVE TO WAIT TWO MORE DAYS FOR THE NEXT ONE

i honestly can't remember the last time i was THIS excited and invested in a show. maybe with vice versa, and i don't say that lightly. but the edge of horizon has genuinely been such a fantastic watch so far. i really have to commend both innongsa's performances and the writing itself, because the show manages to carry the romance and the political storyline with equal confidence. between phob and tin there are years of love, guilt, longing, and unspoken hurt, but also the weight of class differences and the expectations people have placed on them. they're carrying the exact same history, yet they're burdened by it in completely different ways, and this tension makes every interaction between them so compelling. every glance feels loaded, every hesitation changes the emotional weight of a scene, and every tiny shift in expression tells you exactly what they're too afraid or too unable to put into words. you understand completely why they can't let each other go, but you also understand why simply falling back into each other's arms isn't so easy

AND IM TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING COHERENT HERE BUT ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS TIN'S BEAUTIFUL BAMBI EYES AND PHOB'S EVERYTHING AND WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN WHEN TIN FINDS OUT ABOUT HIM BEING PART OF THE REBELS AND CHAT BEING SO HUMAN IN HIS OVER THE TOP ERRATIC BEHAVIOR AND HOW THIS SHOW IS POSSIBLY COMMITING TO A LESBIAN SIDE PAIR TOO

WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I REALLY THOUGHT I COULD JUST. CATCH UP WITH THIS SHOW IN ONE EVENING AND THEN MOVE ON......INSTEAD EVERY EPISODE HAS BECOME A 3-HOUR-LONG AFFAIR WHERE I HAVE TO PAUSE A SINGLE SCENE 9237239847 SEPARATE TIMES JUST TO COME DOWN FROM THE SHEER UNHINGED MANIC ENERGY EVERY LINE OF DIALOGUE EVERY TOUCH ANS EVERY EXPRESSION HAS ME OPERATING ON

AND OF COURSE I'D SEEN GIFSETS OF THE SHOW ON MY DASH BUT NOTHING - AND I TRULY MEAN NOTHING - COULD HAVE PREPARED ME FOR THE LOVE THE DEVOTION THE REVERENCE THE DEDICATION THE LONGING THE WANT THE YEARNING THE CRAVING THE DESIRE THE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
