She-Ra, D&D AU
Glimmer:
Glimmer grew up in the prosperous city of Bright Moon under the protection of the Rebellion. She knew from the moment her father died on the front lines of the battle, and when the Princess Rebellion broke, that she would be a Sorcerer, just like him. Her mother shipped her off to Mystacor where she could train under the guidance of her Aunt to become a strong sorceress, like her Father. She ran away when she was a teen, frustrated with the rate her magic was progressing at. Wandering to a tavern in a nearby village, she meets a Paladin, sworn to the land of Etheria. She takes him in as her official protector, and returns to Bright Moon to rebuild the Rebellion and learn her Mother’s magic instead of sorcery. Her power is strong, and she later connects with the Moonstone when her Mother sacrifices herself to save the world. She is the second most powerful being in Etheria, apart from Adora. Her magic weapon is a staff forged from the high mages for her father, to heed him in his accession to the throne as King of Bright Moon. She recovered it from a Horde base, and dispelled all evil magic from it in the Wells of Purity, a quest she completed once Queen Mermista of Oceanus granted her passage when joining the Rebellion.
Bow:
Bow grew up in a small village, in the constraints of the city of Thaymor, raised alongside his thirteen siblings and his two fathers. They aspired for him to be the next head librarian for their History University after losing friends and family in battle. They forged a blood oath before siring any children, promising the land that they’d farm it and discover its secrets if it kept their family safe from the dangers of the Horde. Bow ran away at the age of ten, swearing his oath as a Paladin to protect all others over himself. Seeing as his parents forbade him from this conquest, no one sought his help. He lived off of bounties that rarely provided more than a few warm meals and a drink at the local tavern. One night, after a hard day of searching, he was able to secure a bed at the local tavern, where he met Princess Glimmer, who used her magic to unbind him from his parents oath, and promoted him to her personal guard. They returned to Bright Moon as a pair, where they began to rebuild the Rebellion.Bow’s weapon is a little less meaningful than Glimmer’s, being a simple bow and arrow he’d built himself. After being taken in by Glimmer, she used her weak magic in an attempt to repair it after a lost battle, and discovered that her magic is at its strongest when in service of those she loves. The bow was transformed into a magical, golden plated bow that never misses, accompanied by a quiver that never empties. Bow has had many opportunities for better weapons, but he chooses to stick with this one, creating new inventions out of arrows that help greatly in their battle against the Horde to reclaim Etheria.
Catra:
Catra was raised by the Horde, conditioned from when she was young to fight the good for the bad, to reach ultimate power. The sorceress who raised her, Shadow Weaver, harnessed the power of the Black Garnet, and ancient artifact that helps it’s users fight for their darkest desires, to break the Paladin code, under which Catra swore an evil version of the oath, to protect the Horde at all costs. Of course, Catra refuses to accept this, as it would mean her entire life was a lie. She truly believes she is upholding the proper code of Paladins. When Adora left, Catra was able to rise above what they had been, to reach the darkest parts of herself. In secret, she started conducting all of Hordak’s forces, using them to her will to better Etheria as she saw fit. When Horde Prime came, she was viewed as strong but naive. She was cast aside by those who she had thought were her own, and forced to accept that she had been lied to. She retreated to Bright Moon, and with Queen Glimmer’s hard earned trust, was freed from the evil Paladin code to fight at Adora’s side. She became a Rogue, traveling far and wide with Adora to build distant alliances to destroy Horde Prime.Catra has various weapons throughout her journey. In her early stages, all she was allowed were weapons granted by the Horde. Then, she found her first real weapon, a flail gifted to her by the Spoils of War after a brutal attack on Plumeria. Growing attached to the weapon, Hordak tossed it aside. Catra was left weaponless for some time, until finding a whip blessed by Shadow Weaver, one of her many weaker enchantments. It had the powers of the dark forces, being able to call upon small armies. When Catra left the Horde, Adora offered her a deal. In agreement, Catra burned the whip and received Adora’s staff. She carries the wooden staff with pride as her and Adora travel the world together, forging alliances.
Adora:
Adora grew up in the Horde as the golden child, always destined for great things. The night before she swore her oath as a Paladin for Hordak, to be his second in command, she snuck off to the Whispering Woods. Leaving the Fright Zone, the only place she’d ever known, was scary, but she felt called to. In the woods, she found an ancient First Ones temple, a beacon, with the Sword of Power. An ancient guardian, Light Hope, blessed her with the powers of She-Ra, the Princess of Power. She became a Cleric, and pledged herself to the Rebellion in Bright Hope after being captured. Using her many years of training for such a situation to lead, she helps Glimmer and Bow establish connections with the other princesses to build the Princess Alliance and defeat the Horde. After Queen Angella’s sacrifice, Glimmer, Bow, and her decide that she should venture off on her own to grow the Rebellion, but setback after setback keeps her stationed in Bright Moon. After Catra joins the rebellion and reveals news of Horde Prime that could turn the tides of the war, they decide it's finally time. Catra and Adora set off on foot with nothing but what they can carry in their bags, and start gathering people in the Rebellion for the final battle. Adora’s weapon is obvious, the Sword of Power. It is a magical weapon forged by the First Ones, an ancient civilization that nearly destroyed Etheria. The weapon only works for her, as they learn, because she was stolen from her world. She is a First One. The Sword, though designed for the evil of destroying Etheria, is now in the right hands, and Adora learns more about it than the First Ones had intended. Eventually, in a desperate attempt to stop a bomb implanted in the core of Etheria, she destroys the sword, and is left weaponless. This doesn’t stop Adora though from unlocking the secrets of magic with the Sword still inside her.
Mermista:
Mermista grew up in the raging seas located in the center of Oceanus, her days filled with laughter and training to be Queen as she grew up to be a Cleric. When her father passed after a brutal attack by the Horde, her mother followed from grief. She took up the throne at the mere age of 14, growing into a strong and careless Queen. Her heart hardened when the people of Oceanus fled, fearing the Horde’s attacks. When Queen Glimmer arrived with her friends in the abandoned kingdom in search of the benefit of the tides while searching for the Wells of Purity,, Mermista allied herself with Bright Moon, restarting the Princess Alliance with the other princesses and reestablishing the Kingdom of Oceanus. She was on the front lines when Horde Prime invaded Etheria, and fought brutally, sustaining an almost fatal injury to her leg. She now wears a prosthetic crafted by Entrapta, and fights on.Mermista’s weapon is her Mother’s trident, which she inherited when she became Queen. The trident connects to all of Oceanus, helping her control trade passages, straits, and tides, keeping the oceans clear for the allies of Oceanus, while using her magic to keep the Horde out.
Scorpia:
Scorpia doesn’t remember anything before the Horde, her young days filled with training to be a Force Commander and fighting against the Rebellion before she could say her first sentence. Violence was all she’d ever known, yet she remained strong and confident in the hope of it all being for a purpose. It all came to a head the moment she met Catra, when she realized she did care about people, and would fight for anyone she loved. Upon realizing the way Catra was treated by Hordak and Shadow Weaver, she was determined to leave one day. Catra was also the reason she stayed for as long as she did, thinking good could be found in the warrior. Upon the realization that Catra was only ever going to push her away, she fled to the kingdom of Plumeria where she met Queen Perfuma. She joined the kingdom’s ranks as a Bard, and quickly worked her way up to the Rebellion Council as a trusted adversary. Scorpia’s only weapons are a curse her family was gifted hundreds of years before her birth. A witch cursed her Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather, King Webtoon, with the features of a crab. And though the curse has definitely dulled down, it remains strong. Scorpia uses artifacts she finds, connects them with her magic, and uses her claws as conduits of the magic to attack people. She is a Bard.
Frosta:
Frosta doesn’t remember much of her parents as the youngest member of the Rebellion, but she does remember never leaving her Kingdom. Her early days were consumed by learning to be a sorceress, channeling her kingdom's natural ice magic to yield her in battle. When her parents both died of an illness that swept through the Ice Kingdom before she could even do her own cooking, she became the next Queen of the Ice Kingdom. When Queen Glimmer of Bright Moon requested her to join the Rebellion, negotiations were reopened. Although young, Queen Frosta is anything but naive. She knows very well the strong, hidden trade routes that go through the Whispering Forest, free of Horde Soldiers, and the bountiful harvests they receive there. She joins the Rebellion, gaining access to these things for her Kingdom, and fights on the front lines. She trains under Glimmer, to learn stronger sorcery and become better at defending her people. Frosta wields a scepter she forged from ice, enchanted with her first real spell under Glimmer’s teachings. The scepter is enchanted to enhance her healing abilities, and allow her ice to help heal those with her blessing, which all the Rebellion on the front lines has received.
Perfuma:
Perfuma has always wanted to be a Druid, finding strength in her friendships and community. She ventured deep into the caverns below the kingdom, where the Heart Blossom’s roots were still strong and healthy, at the age of ten. She connected with the tree, and became the new Queen at fifteen when her parents deemed her ready. When the Horde began attacking Plumeria, she was quick to ally herself with Bright Moon, who quickly came to her aid. Adora, a cleric with strong intellect, deemed her strong enough to be her personal escort. Perfuma was quick to rise up to the task, grateful to have a new friend, and she protects Adora with her life. Her powers are able to be channeled the most powerfully when she uses them to benefit and protect her friends, which she is glad to do for Adora.Perfuma’s magic is her plants. She loves them like her own children, and is quick to learn the story from every plant. She can speak and communicate with them, learning stories and details about the Horde’s movement that benefit the Rebellion.
Shadow Weaver:
Shadow Weaver was a sorceress of the highest classes on Mystacor, until her plans stopped overlapping with the other sorcerer’s plans. She was forced out of Mystacor after trying to reinforce the barrier to the highest degree, and keep everyone out permanently, to separate them from the world. She joined the Horde with rage and spite filling her, taking on the name Shadow Weaver, replacing her birth name, Light Spinner. She connected to an artifact gifted to her by Hordak, the Black garnet, and used it to build Hordak’s army with loyal Paladins. She used her magic to break the Paladin code and make them swear to Hordak instead of the world.Shadow Weavers magic is her weapon, as she is one of the strongest sorceresses in the world, next to King Micah and Queen Glimmer. She is significantly less powerful after losing to Hordak and having her Black Garnet connection destroyed.

Alastor sucks
Can we stop the Vox bashing and perhaps direct this shit to Alastor? The reason Vox is like this?
Vox was in love with Alastor. Alastor broke Vox's heart and tried to ruin his fucking brand. Not to mention Alastor literally only works in the hotel cause he's forced to and makes it worse.
He fucking abuses Husker mentally (probably physically too). Yet we validate all this shit because he "has trauma with men and only likes woman?"
Yeah, cool headcanon. Mind telling me you're stance on his rage towards Lucifer for no other reason apart from being a man? Sexist much?
And yeah, his story is tragic probably, and being on rosie's leash sucks. But you aren't your trauma, guys.
We need to stop supporting people who do fucked up things because they have a fucked up past. And cannibalism isn't cool, Alastor.
Can we please just stop with the Alastor love until you have an actual reason to LIKE him apart from his design, concept, sexuality, and thematic concepts??? Maybe direct your attention towards under appeiciated characters, like Abel, or Molly, or the Eggs!
