There was an issue with the Alert email; it was unintentionally sent to everyone, I won't be able to check on your status specifically however, if you received a confirmation email there is a very high probability that you were sent the Alert by mistake.

I leave that discretion up to the writers. It can be as long or short as you're comfortable with.

No you are not required. Unfortunately, this does seem to be the case; betas and cheerleaders are voluntary just as authors, artists, and translators. The list is however updated as new betas/cheerleaders volunteer.

If you have already completed an outline/layout for your fic then just sending that in will be fine. However, for those of you who have not than this is a good template.

Attached to the email should be a brief layout or outline of the fic.

It is the creator's responsibility to reach out to the betas/cheerleaders. Creators are provided with a complete list of all betas and cheerleaders and decide themselves who they would like to reach out too.

It is never too late for Beta, Cheerleader, or Translator Sign Ups. They are always open. I’m not sure why you’re having trouble with the link, I just tested it out myself. But here is an alternate link, I hope this helps.

I'm not entirely sure sure how to answer this, nonnie, at least not without seeing the work first. I can say, however, that both crossovers and au's even crossover au's are welcome as long as they are stormpilot centric. It sounds to me like what you're pursuing is so it is totally acceptable!

Hi, I just wanted to offer a resource for authors (and I suppose any other contributors, but my only experience is as an author). When tackling a large project, I’ve found pomodoros to be a LIFE SAVER. The concept is you work for 25 minutes straight then take 5 minute breaks. Whenever I’ve had writer’s block or just trouble getting started, this has completely saved me. I hope it can help some other people too!
