( @le-chateau-fromage ) For what it's worth, Palomine dislikes geese, too. They are big and chase people and make horrible sounds and they are ALMOST as terrifying as chickens. She has painted a goose with a big X over it in solidarity.

At least Boruto isn't alone! He shall protect his tiny friend. No goose shall harm the rat under his watch.

Boruto had tried to be quiet when he ventured out of his bedroom, not wanting to wake anyone in the house up. That failed when he saw his grandma was still up.

At the head pat, he chuckled softly, before he blew out a sigh. No use trying to hide the fact he wasn't going back to bed. Even if he did, he'd just end up staring at the ceiling until exhaustion finally carried him off to sleep.
