Sorry for the recent quiet, folks! Between some freak Adobe triple-charging and recent small slippage of my health, things have been kind of nuts lately, and I haven't been able to record. I hope to have more Stories From Cybertron up soon though; thank you for your patience!

AGH! LATE AGAIN! Sorry folks, I'm dealing with some technical difficulties at Stories From Cybertron HQ. Here in AK, the sun has finally begun to fully set again, and some of our radio stations tend to cause interference in the dark, and... well.
You'd think after so long as a Comp. Engineering student, the "human antenna" trick would get old. š

New stuff coming Friday! My sincerest apologies for the long wait, the environment here has been... incompatible with quiet, closed space to say the least. As some of y'all who follow my main TF blog already know, up here in Alaska, our houses are built to trap heat. It helps keep us warm and lower heating usage in the winter - for instance, the homesteader-style home we live on only starts getting nippy in the outer rooms at about -30, -40Ā°F, lower when it's windy enough to push a draft through.
That said, it has gotten absurdly hot these last few summers. In '20 we broke an all-time heat record hitting 100Ā°F, but that was in Anchorage proper, under the canopy of forests and the shadows of the mountains. Up here, we're juuuust above the treeline, on the ridge, with no shade from the Midnight Sun once it rises, if it set at all that night š so even the 70-80Ā° weather is enough to make the upper floor where the heat gathers uninhabitable. Thus, we have lots of open-window box-fan setups to try and get the cool air moving through - that's the other thing, no one has aircon here - and it's LOUD AF, so while it's hot I can't record.
The weather is changing though! This week is supposed to be thankfully cooler and rainier, and there should certainly be enough space to get that good good audio quality for you folks. So, look for the next few chapters on Friday! š

Do you like compelling and engaging fanfic? What about Podfic? Yeah you do, and that's great, because I have something for you!
I'm @uwuprime, some of you may know my dorky mug already, and this is a podcast I've created to feature and make accessible some fantastic, fresh, and favorite works here in Transformers fandom.
Rather than either waiting until a full work is recorded or submitting each chapter separately though, I've taken a slightly different approach. Thus, enter Stories From Cybertron, a weekly to bi-weeky podcast consisting of at least one chapter per episode!
Oh, and It's on Spotify.
No dodgy links, no broken players, and no waiting eighty years for a four-hour recording to download. As each story is completed, they'll also be put up on AO3 to download without all the in-between-y podcast bits, for your listening convenience!
