There’s actually two Wonder Woman comic issues that deal with a Wonder Woman movie being produced. Diana goes to investigate and she walks around the set and is appalled at how terrible everything is. Her costume is over-sexualized, they included sexual tension between Hercules and Diana and reduced their struggle to nothing more than extended foreplay—as well as creating a love triangle between Hercules, Diana, and Hippolyta; they mock her birth, they include lessons wherein the Amazons teach all the young girls that men are crude monsters, and they included an OC male as a love interest for Diana. Basically, they destroyed her entire character in a movie, and Diana’s internal monologue as she watched everything was hilarious.
