“it’s fucked up, right? i’m just, you know, stating facts, voicing my opinion. it’s 2023—-i have rights!” vals hands moved wildly through the air as she ranted, her pace brisk—-but nora would keep up, she knew. “snitches DO get stitches, and—–” she huffed, fists clenched because as much as she’d like to light brent nott and his personal library on fire, nora was right. jac, at the very least, would lock up her broom til val was old and grey. “—-well it’d better be a fucking good prank, nor. i’m out for blood. ….figurative blood, yeah yeah.”

     “You do!! If being best friends with Celia Bones has taught me anything, it’s that you have rights!!” Nora’s stride moved in sync with Val’s as she also kept up to listen to her, she offered her arm as she tried to think of something devious enough for Brent but nothing crossing the line lest Val got in trouble for it and had to miss more game time. It would have to be something that seemed like it could come from only Nora herself, “I’m THINKING you can’t be involved in this particular prank planning, but, I assure you I’ll deliver.” she didn’t mean to change the subject so abruptly, but she did have something else to tell her friend. “ -- -- Did you hear about that trashy party that’s taking place after?? I might swing by but only so I can give an appropriate rating on how SHIT it is.”

“aren’t you the life of the party.”

“If you have Firewhisky, you best be sharing. I failed a test spectacularly today, and I’d like to forget about it’s existence.”

“hey, have you seen my cat? i haven’t seen him since the explosion.”

this was why val adored nora; she didn’t try to calm her, yank her back and invalidate her anger—-she just let her be. “a snitch is what happened, nor. i’m benched! benched for the first game of the season—-can you believe? all because lily potter got a little hands-on when i called her mum a gold-digger?! fucking brent nott, just wait til i find him.“

     Her eyes widened -- maybe Val had a temper and maybe she took whatever happened ‘too far’ but Nora was entirely on her side. She respected Brent enough to know that he meant well, but she was properly angry on behalf of Val. “You called Firecrotch Potter’s mum a golddigger?? Sounds right. You were only speaking the truth, but you know how redheads can be. Proving those stereotypes,” shaking her head, it was clear that she was thoroughly disappointed for Val. “USUALLY, I’d say snitches get stitches but .... you’d probably just miss more, yeah?? Maybe a good prank on Brent Nott will do.”

“Just a minute.” Celia met the eyes of her friend. She turned to the fellow in front of them. He deserved to be hit or hexed. They (blood purists) all did. Their thought process were not just flawed, but cruel. “Listen. You know you’re wrong. I know you’re wrong. And you’re starting to make me, and Nora, angry.”

“Come back tomorrow with a better argument and we’ll see where you get.” She waved him off, and turned back to her friend. “If he has the gall to vocalize his backwards ideology without sensible logic tomorrow, then you can hit him.”

     She watched as Celia handled the situation -- like she always did. It was remarkable, inspiring even, and this was one of the more mild situations they’d gotten into. If it was up to Nora?? They would’ve been punched & that would’ve been it. “Thank you, honestly, thank you tomorrow it is then. These idiots are more sadomasochistic then most people who are into BDSM. Maybe they’re bigots who are into BDSM, who knows,” Nora shrugged, looking over at Celia her face went from annoyed to curious. 

“No, no, okay stop. Wow, you’re still going?”

“My hands are over my ears and I am forreal no longer listening to your nonsense bullshit.”

it’s jules AGAIN, i’m sorry you gotta deal with all these fiends. nora is the trashiest of them all, literally she’d probably a wear crown that said that and ROCK IT. anyways, it’s not long or fancy just basic ass facts of nora vector. 

“—–where is he?” val growled, shoving a student out of the way as she made her way through the door, “where the FUCK is brent nott?!”

     “OOoo, are we doing this?? Stomping around the castle?? Love it,” Nora joined in, walking along side Val as she helped shove another student that was in the way. “He’s probably off counting how many books he has or CONTEMPLATING the coarseness of his pubic hairs -- what happened to you??”
