💻 a great tool for matching a specific strain to your intention is through leafly’s search engine. go here, scroll down to effects and choose the vibe you’re going for, or scroll to flavors to match up to an herb/incense you’re more familiar with (ie there’s lavender, sage, and rose weeds, which you likely already have connotations for). they also have an app! 📱

going even more specific, you can use the name of your strain to further represent your intention as well. the most realistic way to do this is to look at your options for sativa/indicas, and pick the one that you can most closely relate to an element of your spell’s intent. here’s some of my ideas for popular strains (at least here in denver) that you could use for a variety of magical instances:
