an early morning trip
Looking back at my time in London, this must be one of my fondest memories. It might have been an afterglow after a night of my first acid trip...but I remember I felt as if I finally was at peace with this city. I was cycling around my favorite places and felt perfectly at home... at last.
My diary (which was partly intended for school purposes) simply reads: "After a warm rainy night of sketching, I rewarded myself with a short sunrise bicycle ride. The air still smelled of rain on greenery and concrete, the city was completely still after Friday debauchery and I headed to Regent's canal and Barbican." "I was looking for water sceneries and colours... As I waited for the for the first grocery store to open, I cycled around Barbican's desrted maze-like highwalks." "I thought I was already an expert when it comes to this place...but apparently, there are still corners of this estate which I have not explored yet."
"Regent's canal is another world by itself... quirky boats and colouful grafitti. To me, it's a vein of North and East of London."
