In partnership with 123W, I managed pre-production for this interactive digital experience seeking to engage Canadian Hockey enthusiasts, particularly looking to promote youth enrollment by demonstrating how Hockey has made a positive impact in our local communities.

Working closely with the creative team, I produced and directed this short film to promote kelty mental health and increase awareness about the services available to youth targeting their caregivers.

This on-site activation and digital promotion for Sneaky Pete was a unique and fun project where I helped to plan on the strategy and costs for a lie detector booth and website as well as provide mentorship to the production management team. 

My involvement was during pre-production to get the project scope defined and kickoff the creative strategy. This website scans through your facebook feed for keywords that could increase your chances of being “watched” and is a fun and unique promotional website for the release of the movie.

To promote Bravo’s hit TV show Odd Mom Out, the team at Thinkingbox created an awesome video customizer where users could write their own caption and share a promotional trailer with their friends. I worked closely with the production management team and helped to plan out this successful social sharing website!

Ahead of the mid-season premiere of the CW’s dramatic new thriller Containment, Thinkingbox was tasked with creating an engaging social user experience to generate awareness and drive tune-in. The show centers around a mysterious epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. Immersing fans into the show, my team created an entertaining and interactive series of contextual questions and challenges where users could determine their level of risk against the mysterious (and fictional) virus.

http://awesomenesstv.com/ is a fun Gen Z website that the Thinkingbox team designed in partnership with a branding and strategy agency based out of LA called Troika. My role was to prepare the budget and scope of work, as well as provide our producer with strategic direction. 

I was the Production Planner for this interactive webapp, which was created to promote Warner Brother's film Barbershop 3. My role was to manage pre-production and set the stage before handing off design and development to the Producer.

It had been a little while since I’d produced a project on my own since I’ve been promoted to Associate Director, so I decided to take on www.criminal.movie and I am so proud of how it turned out. The design and development team are getting really talented at EPK’s and this one is really cool! We used WebGL on mobile and desktop to create a “fuzzy feeling” that Kevin Costner’s experiences when the CIA mess around with his brain to gather intel.  The client is really happy and so am I with the quality and design features of this promotional website.

To promote the season 6 premiere of Showtime’s TV show “Shameless,” I was the Production Planner behind this adult colouring book in partnership with OMD Ignition Factory. Users were able to export and share their newly coloured GIFs onto Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Creating fun and shareable content to advertise for exciting shows and movies in Hollywood is one of my favourite kinds of projects at Thinkingbox.

Working with Translink, I produced an informational animated video to help explain the changes to our transit system by managing the copy, storyboard, motion graphics and sound design for this 1 minute piece. In the process of being rolled out now, the Compass Card was announced in 2011 followed by the planning and implementation of the biggest transportation project in Metro Vancouver's history.

In collaboration with Blatant, I produced an animated spot introducing a new program by Westminster Savings. 'Project Better Balance' helps individuals and families achieve better balance in life by providing access to arts and active living opportunities in our communities. I managed the storyboarding, copywriting, motion graphics production, video editing and voice over recording session. It was an honour working with Alan Russell who wrote the script for this live-action motion piece. Alan is a legendary creative leader I have admired since I was 14 when I first discovered advertising as a career option during a 2-week job shadow at Palmer Jarvis DDB with my Aunt, Pat Guzzo.

Ok so it’s not everyone’s favourite radio advertisement, but this project actually jump-started my career into 6th gear! I was the producer behind the HST radio ads that announced the now defunct sales tax introduced to BC in 2010. The reason it was good for me: the TBWA / Vancouver producer wanted to work on flashy beer ads, so I got the incredible experience of learning how to write a script with a client, direct a politically important radio recording session, have the work translated into French, Hindi, Cantonese and Mandarin, and then have it play on every single radio station in the entire Province. Not bad for my third month as a BCIT intern at TBWA / Vancouver. Oh and those flashy beer ads? I got to finish that campaign in the end as well #SponsorMeSpring #StationX

One of my largest shoots to date, this video was filmed for Heartwood Women’s Centre in Vancouver. The purpose of the video was to showcase the comfortable space and the positive impact the facility makes for the women who live there in recovery. I lead the entire project from preparing a shot list with the creative team to interviewing the volunteers, and managing the photography, videography and editing teams. This video brought our client to tears and continues to help women today.
