There are few times in my life where my heart felt as shattered as the day we couldn’t be together anymore. So quick to fall in love in such short time of pure love and intimate moments that I will cherish forever but besides those moments were only words, words I fell for and trusted but did not see through. It is one of my faults that I seek safety in others, I cried out in sadness and regret. I cried out for the little boy that always had big hopes that one day he’ll look across someone across the room with a smile and know that everything will be alright, who wanted to experience a deep sense of connection all his life. It ached every part of my being going through everything that I could’ve done better but now I am fighting for my happiness, fighting for that next battle so words aren’t the only things that get me to fall so hard for someone. I’m growing after every sadness, with more strength and gratitude for what I have. I’m learning to embrace this pain and find ways to let go and this photo is it. Holding hands with a figure with nothing but words, walking to that beautiful future that I wanted to fight for but knew nothing about, thinking I know everything and how things will work out.
