Nontrivial education
In the article “Educational mobile games” there was a review of games aimed to educate. But there are also games that were not created directly as educational but are nevertheless helpful and worth trying.
It was found that a new approach to education via bright, animated and funny games is more resultative, i.e. provides deeper understanding, stronger knowledge and is more applicable to real life, in comparison with traditional one. 91% of school-age children play educational games and find it effective. Â
Educational Games
One of the most discussed today’s issue is preschool and primary education, or how to make parents and educational establishments follow non-conventional path in a studying process.
It was found that kids in online conditions performed much better than these who are used to participating in face-to-face classes. According to the research conducted by The National Center for Educational Statistics more than 2 million K-12 students have already taken online courses at school in the USA. The advantages of e-learning are obvious: cost-effectiveness, flexible access to content, additional credits, interaction and social collaboration.
Why do learners drop courses and 5 methods to increase conversions
A lot of educational services have emerged last year and they use similar approaches to educational processes' organization – they provide listeners with content, include some gamification, give feedback and certificates. But still there is a problem how to keep online-students motivated to complete courses despite of many factors, which can spoil their intention.
For example, Coursera, the leader on the market of online education has pointed out recently the problem of lack of learners' motivation: almost 90% of distance learners drop courses. Â The rest 10% is a conversion rate of learners who started the course (enrolled) into learners who finally earned the statement of accomplishment.

Self-education: 5 methods to extract knowledge online
Self education is a trend today and there are a lot of resources but it is not easy to find the most effective way of spending time on education.Â
“All I have learned, I learned from books.” Abraham Lincoln’s words are fundamentally outdated transferring to the present. Now it sounds "All I have learned, I learned online". It’s not a call to forget about conventional methods of extracting knowledge, but to expand the borders of usage of available information.
This article doesn’t touch upon online courses which you can find on coursera.org or on any other e-learning sites, its contribution is pretty obvious. There are several approaches to online self education, which are presented below.
