God doesn’t force people to love Him. He’s not weak. That’s a weak man’s play, to force someone to do something. He just has to show who He is. And when God shows who He is, no man can say no to that. The soul, upon seeing what it was created for, will be in glad joyful submission unto salvation.

Sometimes, in order for God to get you on His plan, He has to ruin your plan. And that’s a blessing. If your plan worked you’d be stuck settling for less.

The mark of a spiritual man or woman is a listening heart, not a lecturing tongue.

He makes us wait. He keeps us on purpose in the dark. He makes us walk when we want to run, sit still when we want to walk, for He has things to do in our souls that we are not interested in.

I want to reach for God the way I reach for my phone. When I’m bored, when I’m uncomfortable, when I need answers or entertainment, when I’m lonely and need someone to talk to.

Even after I failed You, You still care for me.

The Holy Spirit does not seek to hurt us, but He does seek to make us Christlike, and this can be painful.

Pharisees are more concerned about showing the wrongs of others rather than righting the wrongs. They are more concerned about judging than helping.

Sorry for the times when I’m overwhelmed and worry about my future that I forget that You are a faithful God and You keep Your promises.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
