This work was inspired by the song Strangelight by the punk band Fugazi, looking to match its atmospheric mood and sense of unease.

The title, Fiesta, alludes to the Ernest Hemingway novel The Sun Also Rises (Fiesta) which details the running of the bulls and bullfights of the Festival of San Fermín in Pamplona.

The title French Window refers to the Matisse-esq composition and relates to his flirtation with abstraction in his painting Porte-fenêtre à Collioure.
