In Celebration of Ireland
Making a return to Liverpool and The European Opera Centre this Monday for "In Celebration of Ireland." I'll be performing a mix of poetry and theatre while generally talking about what's going on.
Ireland’s landscapes, writers and artists have had a major influence on European culture.  To mark Ireland’s Presidency of the European Union, the European Opera Centre presents an afternoon of words, music and song in celebration of Ireland. The concert includes Liszt’s virtuosic piano arrangement from Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde, ‘I could have danced all night’ from My Fair Lady, ‘The Last Rose of Summer’ and a range of traditional Irish songs. It will take place on Monday, 6th May, 3.00pm.
Introduced by Irish actor Stephen Colfer, who played the title role in The Beggars Opera at the Epstein Theatre earlier this year, the afternoon will feature singers from the Liverpool-based European Opera Centre.
 Further information from  http://www.stgeorgesliverpool.co.uk/
 Tickets are £15.00 each

My Angry Face will be in Swerve
If ever there was an actor to play the character in Swerve with the least amount of facial hair then it has to be Stephen Colfer.
An actor so good, he played a character with a drawn-on mustache through an entire web-series and nobody noticed! Ladies and gentlemen, Stephen Colfer is Young McNulty in Swerve.
After some mighty scheduling difficulties solved by Ross Costigan shouting at me in The Set for 40 minutes I can finally confirm that myself and my angry face will be joining the cast of Mycrofilm's Swerve.Â
Swerve is about a deadly game where it’s every man for himself as a group of ambitious criminals do battle for a mysterious bag.
This game has been going on for as long as anyone in the criminal underworld can remember. If you play, you play to win. If you lose, you die.
The rules:
1. No girls allowed.
After that, all bets are off.
Written by John Morton, Directed by Ross Costigan and starring over 30 previous DreamDeviousYoungIrishMyrcofilmStuffTheatre cast members. Of all the weeks of pretend killing each other on the streets of Kilkenny we've had over the years I'm looking forward to this one the most.

America! I will be visiting in April, I hope to see you there.
EDIT! Did I say April? I meant May, May is when I’ll be there. I can’t be bothered to rephotoshop that picture…
