Starsight did their best ignore the discomfort that the sight of a sparkless corpse brought them. TNo matter how many times they fed Archiphagia or Archiphagia fed itself to protect them, they would never get used to the aftermath. They hated death. They became a medic to save people.

This was wrong. But, this was what had to be done. They had to keep Archiphagia alive, they had to care for it, treat it as their patient, their friend. Or at least, that's what the nagging voices in their helm declared. A part of them still begged to fight against the virus they didn't even know they had.

Archiphagia looked crestfallen. Filled with guilt, not for the crimes it has committed, but for the pain that the crimes brought Starsight. The Beast did not understand why they were distressed, but it understood that it was involved. Did it do something wrong? Did the bad person hurt them before it intervened? Was it not quick enough.

It's questions were answered when Starsight brought it's left middlemost servo to their own. A small gash, weeping with an energon-like liquid sat in the center of it's palm. Starsight looked up at its face, their visor forming a static around the edges.

"You are injured." Their voice was uneven, fear consuming their very being. The Decepticon that Archiphagia defeated was strong enough to injure it. They did not like that. They did not wish to see their friend wounded, even if it was superficial. The Beast could go toe to toe with the strongest Cybertronians and survive, but that did not make Starsight any less paranoid.

The Beast looked at them and shook it's helm. It would be fine. They needn't worry. It has fed, it will heal. All that matters is that they are uninjured. It would protect them no matter how dangerous the opponent was.

Archiphagia's tails curled around them, brought them to its helms, and it nuzzled one of its faces against theirs "Safe." It dismissed their worries without any thought. Starsight wasn't upset with it. Starsight was upset with the bad person who hurt them.

Starsight did not protest, letting go of The Beast's injured servo. They move their now free servos to Archiphagia's front face's cheeks. Their many optics focuses on it's expressions, now fully distracted by the grotesque scene below them.

With the latest sweep of a scalpel, a plate of rubble falling in halves, and several of the warnings in his HUD of compromised armour around his hip and leg vanished. Well, he still had warnings of damage and breaches, but it stopped flashing, at least. That, allowed him to somewhat push himself upright to sit, and start actually helping pull what he could reach towards himself and slide off to the side to aid his rescuer, a Starsight, in freeing him.

"Pleasure to meet you, Starsight. Would have been nice to meet a friendly face outside of ... Well, this. But I am glad for your presence"

Oh, so those are not gemstones or the various light covers on a vehicular alt mode. Those were optics. A few just moved to 'look' at him and back to the task. He'd just thought it was light refracting as the medic moved. That was .... Weird. He is fascinated what their field of view must be like. Full 380? 280? 180? More than his, that is for sure.

Ha ha! Good leg pulled back to his chest to brace against the rubble stack, and Echo is slowly scooting himself backwards to pull his pinned leg free and ... tutting in annoyance. And that explains why his HUD was going absolutely batscrap. One of the metal support pieces of the concrete had punched through his thigh, minor fuel lines from the fact he was still online a day later, but, at least whatever concrete it was attached to had fallen away either on impact or with the excavation effort.

Starsight helped lift him up, their optics watching and analyzing every movement. Flinching, a twitch of the faceplate, tensing of fuel lines, anything. It all offered insight into the damage to his systems.

"A pleasure to meet you, as well. It is unfortunate that our meeting was in this way, but it is not that uncommon for me. Quite a few of my friends and aqquaintances met me in a similar situation."

Starsight knew their optics must have been interesting to him. They were interesting to most people.. even the ones who witnessed their forging found them fascinating. They could probably explain it some other time.. but it would be hard to put into perspective just what they see.

They watched as his leg was freed and took note of the injury. Their eyes focused on the surrounding wound. They needed to make sure it hadn't gotten infected during the time it had been left unattended. A rust infection there could spread throughout his internals and cause havok.

"Yes. I have a ship. I also have a crewmate.. It isn't the most friendly 'bot, so you might not see it." They paused for a second, sending a silent comm to Archiphagia. They informed the beast to stay within it's quarters for now. "That should suffice, it will keep anything from getting in. Thankfully, my ship has a short range teleporter, so we can get there quickly."
