Last July, an armed doctor stopped a would-be spree killer in a hospital. Last September, an armed citizen shot a knife-wielding attacker who had already beheaded one woman.  These are just two of the thousands of documented instances per year of guns saving lives.

"Leave it to the trained guys" is stupid. I’m not going to risk my family’s lives waiting for a "trained guy" to show up an hour after a criminal has broken in.  Why on earth can’t YOU be one of the “trained guys?”  Training in gun safety and self-defense is easily available.  Take responsibility for the safety of your loved ones.  If you choose to live life as a sheep, know that you aren’t putting just yourself at risk - you also endanger the people that you love.
