This would bring me a lot of hate in many circles on here but I am staunchly pro outdoor cat if you have the right outdoor space for them. Its good for them i think its better than it is for dogs actually. I have 3 cats and they are not allowed outside for the record because I dont have several fenced off acres and coyotes run rampant here. Ive been around outdoor cats my entire life and theyre literally smart and know where home is and can be trained to come when called. Not all are built for it and yeah sometimes they can die outside due to various things but they can also die getting into your medication when youre not home or eating a piece of plastic or a garlic clove off your kitchen floor
