the "this never happens!" thing doesn't work in the face of someone who has had the thing that never happens happen to them. a white man pretended to be a black woman for the purposes of grooming me and several other girls, most of whom were non-white, because he knew we were more likely to trust a woman over a man. he wasn't trans and as far as I know never transitioned or identified himself as such, including years later when he was caught paying a random black woman for pictures to pretend to be a black woman Again (he wisened up once reverse image searching became easier!) - he just passed himself off as whatever was convenient to help him groom children.

it took me finally being too uncomfortable with everything to speak up and get this man removed from a community that had plenty of children for him to groom. the number of kids he did this to was in the double digits. even if my statistically insignifcant thing that never happens never truly does happen with anyone other than that one man that is one man who was so desperate to sexually abuse children that he put on a black woman's digital skin knowing that multiple children, mostly children of colour, would think him more trustworthy.
when I talk about these people trying to make pedophilia and pedophilic fantasies normal and acceptable this is what I remember. when I talk about this website's massive grooming and CSEM problem that led to the Apple taking Tumblr off the app store and resulted in the pornography ban, I think of this. when I see someone with a username like cunnyenjoyerxv acting like her right to free speech on a website that doesn't have to obey free speech laws is being violated when she is deleted for mass reblogging pedophilic art from pixiv on her fifteenth remake, I think about the man who would send me higurashi loli art and ask if I'd ever done stuff like that with my friends and would say it's normal why don't you like it when I said it was weird.
the things you're doing, saying, sharing and posting don't exist in a vacuum. if you are following the Pedophile Who Groomed Children playbook you don't get to sob and shit yourself when people compare you to Pedophiled Who Groom Children.
