This is my first time writing an au but I don't know if they will turn into actual fanfiction and I’ll be happy for anyone to use my idea. Also may be a bit random as this is just my ideas.
I got this idea for an au that tf!scott is just the reincarnation of Seren which was the reincarnation of empires Scott. The corruption is basically xornoth and this version of xornoth is stronger as it has taken more than on reincarnation to defeat him, and we still dont know if we beat him in the first place.
The corruption/Xornoth hasn’t been here for 1000 years and when Aeor felt the return of Exor he has reincarnated its next champion Seren. After her life she has failed to remove the corruption and rid exor but she has managed to protect the capital. After a few hundred years Aeor made its next champion tf!Scott. His duty is to rid the corruption and protect everyone he loves.
Tegrith is basically Rivendell that has been adapted over the years (because there was no ruler) and has changed its name. The people have also changed a lot but still wear Rivendell clothes. The tale of empires Scott is a myth and only a story among the townsfolk. Like Rivendell, Tegrith also worships Aeor but isn’t as obvious about it and around 80% of the townsfolk worship Aeor. The other 20% worship other gods.
Tf!Scott knows about the story of empires and the rapture because his mom told him about it when he as a kid. His mom says that is the history of tegrith but Scott only believes it as a myth and just a story people have made.
The ice powers were probably drawn to him as seren and empires Scott both have ice magic. Empires Scott froze gem, seren froze her parents (I think) and tf!Scott is basically freezing himself.
