I recently was bored today scrolling through my blog and was re-reading my response to the ask on Jias. This led me through a rabbit hole where I attempted to visit his Jiatendo site, which unlike before, didn’t lead to his site… rather to a YouTube video, which I’ll link here:

Clearly a lot has gone on while I’ve been away and I am a bit shocked by it all.

(Also, that video is exceptionally well done; I liked how it documented timelines and provided receipts of everything).

I can’t provide much info on it for the sole purpose, despite him claiming I am/was his best friend because **I did not know him well, if at all**.

I’m surprised, but equally not surprised how far he took things and the fact some people clearly drag their online presence into their real life one. I’ve always made it a point to keep both things completely separate to the point that most people I know in real life do not know about my blog, because **they don’t need to know**. Some of those know pretty limited information on me based off what I choose to disclose, but I feel as if I’m getting too old to keep up with all this Animal Crossing drama lmao.

Anyways, I figured I would put my two cents and provide my receipts with my minimal conversation with him about Jiatendo. Throughout this whole ordeal he hasn’t reached out to me, so I’m not sure if he just disappeared from the internet or if he’s facing legal matters.

In a nutshell, that’s all I knew about the project and him as a person. (There’s like 4 more screenshots but I’m on mobile at the moment and the app doesn’t let you post more than 10 images :/ )

Heck, I’m not even sure if the topic of him/Jiatendo is still relevant, but if somebody were to question my involvement and knowledge of everything, this is basically it.

Surprisingly, I’ve been waiting for this to become an “official” ask as I’d love to clear up some confusion about the whole Jias situation.

I’m aware of him claiming I’m his “best friend”. I’ve also seen the whole “I’m Jeffrey Fernandez, the number one hacker” thing on Discord (blah blah).

But to summarize it, I’ve always thought it was funny as for ages I didn’t even know him. Don’t get me wrong… I’d run into him on the islands here and there, but 9 times out of 10 I’d error; not because I had anything against him, but rather the fact I errored on anybody and hackers would usually get in the middle of my trolling.

I believe at the time it was more of an envy thing if anything. I’ve always thought it was weird, and honestly a bit creepy as I’ve never directly talked or messaged him. The sole reason why I never really let it bothered me is I couldn’t care less what he said. If anything it seemed a bit… desperate? (If that’s the proper word). I’ve always trolled alone (roughly since New Leaf started) so he came out of nowhere.

I’ve trolled on New Leaf for a LONG time. Pretty much beginning to end of New Leaf’s lifespan, off and on. I honestly couldn’t tell you when he started going to the islands, if he’s always been a hacker, etc. I know zero about him and keep/kept to myself in the community. *shrugs*

I know about 2-3 years ago (give or take) there was discussion if we were the same person or my “friendship status” with him but honestly, again, I’ve never really addressed it as I’m usually busy with in real life things. I can assure you though we are two different people.

About 6 months ago he did send me an ask on here about his new “Jiatendo” thing he’s making. I’ve never really had anything AGAINST him up to this point, so I DID respond and join his discord on it. Couldn’t tell you how it’s going though. I don’t check my discord or most of my gaming/Animal Crossing related socials a ton.

As for why I joined, it was more curiosity and to humor myself if anything. I have no idea about the legitimacy of his programming claims but I’m a “join and see what happens” sort of person.

THAT BEING SAID/TL;DR:

I haven’t heard any of these claims. I’ve only messaged him personally (messaged him back) about “Jiatendo” but I haven’t outside of any other means. I am curious about this though and am open ears for sure since honestly I’ve heard more about him than he’s probably even heard about me. If you have a Tumblr, feel free to direct message me about it. Otherwise, send me more asks as anon and I’ll read them. Let me know if you want me to post them or not.

Thank you for letting me know and letting me be aware, because that’s creepy as hell if the claims are true.

I’m also glad to *hopefully* clear some stuff up in the community about how I “know him” (I say that loosely) as it’s an excellent question, honestly.

(Edit: added some images from the ACNL Vapecord plugin’s discord. It’s honestly amusing to me how far rumors go as I’ve never cloned Jeffrey/Jias (I actually forgot he seemed to go by multiple names? Not sure if he still does) and just to come out on record in 2021 I attempted to clear the air a bit on various things, including Jias.)

(Edit no. 2: I did skim through more recent messages (last 5 or so months, give or take) on the Vapecord discord. I now do see other various members discussing him being exposed etc, which I was not aware of. I would like to make it clear I don’t check these socials as much as I probably should, so I live under a rock when it comes to the state and affairs of the ACC right now/recent. I’m very curious about all that’s happened, though.)
