charlotte denise humphrey was born on february 15th, 1999, in manhattan, new york, to joy & austin humphrey, as their youngest child together and their only daughter out of six boys.

growing up, charlotte's family had always been a loving one, there was never a dull moment in their family, especially due to how large it was. as the only girl however, charlotte always found it hard to fit it, due to her being a bit of a tomboy as a kid. as a result, no one ever really wanted to be her friend, and her only true friends had been her older brothers.

because of this, charlotte had always been a bit reserved as a kid, always tending to keep to herself, as to not cause trouble. however, that could also stem from the fact that both of her parents are lawyers as well. while her brothers had been out partying or hanging out with friends, you would often see the youngest humphrey child in their back porch playing by herself or reading underneath her favorite tree.

things don't stay this way forever however, it all changed when someone new moved next door to them, someone charlotte wished she could be like. they always wore the best clothes, listened to the best music, always stuck it to the man, and knew how to have fun! it didn't take long for them to notice just how much of a loser charlotte was and they made it their mission to turn it around for her, being her pseudo mentor, and teaching her their ways.

by the time charlotte had started high school, she had been a completely different person, she was no longer the tomboy that everyone remembered her to be.. or at least not on the outside and she was always the life of the party. whenever her parents had left on a business trip or were busy with a case, she would always be the one to host their home as the pseudo party spot and even provided alcohol, using her fake id.

not long after the entire makeover that her new neighbor, who charlie had deemed her fairy godmother, had given her, they moved away. she wasn't entirely sure why, they never truly explained it, but she was sad because of it. maybe it had been all a dream? no one truly seemed to know who she had been talking about.. or maybe they had given her a false name? she wasn't sure. although she probably should have let it go, she was able to find the one person that knew where they had went and set her sites on los angeles, california, where they had been as well in order to thank them and also possibly be able to follow her dreams as well.

danielle jade 'dj' clark was born and raised on june 20th, 1996, in los angeles, california, to jessica & bradley clark, as their only daughter together.

growing up, dj's family had always made it their mission to come across as the picture perfect family, especially since it had so much to do with her parents work.

with her mother being a famous dancer and her father being a famous director, they always had to put this front that there had been nothing wrong with their family, but behind closed doors, it was hell. there had been multiple screaming matches between both of her parents and even the occasional throwing of whatever object had been nearest, all the young girl wanted to do was escape.

that's when she discovered rock music, the only type of music that helped her drown out the sound of her parents screams, especially when they had been fighting about her. neither of them ever wanted a child, but it had been their agent's idea to have them keep her, as it would be good for both of their careers.

ever since dj was a kid, her parents let it be known that she was nothing more than a pr stunt and that she was never going to amount to anything else because she was too pretty and not as talented as either of her parents. her parents only truly paid attention to her whenever they were at a function together, but other times, they tried to ignore the young girl as much as possible.

by the time dj had been 18, she decided to leave her verbally abusive home, but her parents words continued to follow. audition after audition, she let her parents words get to her and nearly quit every time, the only true solution to calming herself down being cocaine, a solution she had come up with after spending some time as a roadie before she then decided to become an actress instead. whenever she had coke in her system, she felt at ease, the numbness of it all calming her nerves and finally ridding herself of her parents negativity.
