IBM Electric Chinese Typewriter (via SCMP — She memorised IBM typewriter codes for 5,400 Chinese characters but couldn’t save tech giant’s ill-fated machine)

Underwood No. 5 typewriter circa early-1920s — been in my family ever since. My parents recently gifted it to me. No plans to it use for manually intensive, “real” writing — way too much of a digital boy — but it sure looks freakin’ cool. And writer-y.
