Retenção deve ser um dos assuntos que eu mais gosto e Andrew Chen é um dos que fala melhor sobre isso. Aqui ele faz um resumão sobre o mundo da retenção.

But there is nothing more dangerous for investors and entrepreneurs than wishful thinking. The lessons learned from investing in tech over the last 50 years are not the right ones to apply now. The way to invest in AI is to think through the implications of knowledge workers becoming more efficient, to imagine what markets this efficiency unlocks, and to invest in those. For decades, the way to make money was to bet on what the new thing was. Now, you have to bet on the opportunities it opens up."

Trecho interessante para pensar a arquitetura conceitual de sistemas de memória: "Looking at the category more broadly, the conceptual architecture for any memory system involves several key components: a storage layer (vector databases, graph databases, or traditional databases depending on your needs), a retrieval mechanism (similarity search, keyword matching, or hybrid approaches), an update system (how new information modifies or contradicts existing memories), and policies for retention and forgetting (what gets remembered long-term versus what gets discarded)."

Nem todo produto precisa de grande escala. A mentalidade de crescimento mata bons produtos como o Pocket. Com AI e o barateamento dos custos de produzir software teremos um espaço ainda mais rico para produtos pequenos, lucrativos e independentes (que eu espero que não seja dominado pelas grandes empresas de AI).

Como serão (são) os softwares nesse novo paradigma: contexto, orquestração, UI/UX e grau de autonomia.

Ler esse artigo foi muito bom para entender melhor o que aconteceu na história da minha empresa, que viveu ambos os ciclos tecnológicos e de distribuição do mobile.
