Lucy is joker and Harleys daughter. Born before their breakup..

harely and joker broke up when she was about 7. Joker took full custody forcefully. She's been involved with jokers schemes since well the day she was born! The most earliest she's been directly involved is when she was 3, and joker used her as bait for Batman. Batman, Everytime joker puts her in a dangerous situation, would save her. She grew up basically surviving. Moving from base to base, getting jokers leftover food, and being taught to be her father's perfect little criminal. She's tactical, street smart as maybe you'd say. She can outsmart many expect in academics (ex science) as she's never been to school. She also dresses as a clown.. when Damian Wayne becomes Robin, her rivalry with him starts. Damian usually underestimates her because whenever she does jokers plans they always fail. But the first time she makes her own plan without joker, she actually makes a problem for him. He actually struggled. And it's quickly realized that she's actually alot more smart than Damian thought. She enjoys teasing Damian, liking his reactions Lucy doesn't desire the crime life really. Running away constantly isn't fun for anyone let alone her. She just wants a normal life. And to be 'good'

Batman does try taking her from joker and trying to find someone who will take her but it ends up failing and he's forced to return her to the joker

I think Lucy sees her battles with Damian as something to look forward to. Especially since it's the only time she ever interacts with someone her age

Lucy represents what Damian could have been if he didn't get the support of his father and others. And it's what makes him drawn to her and also... It terrifies him
