Imperial Troops Increase Presence Over Jedha

Reports are coming in to Yavin Command that the Galactic Empire has been diverting massive amounts of resources to the planet Jedha over the past few years. This has only been recently discovered as embedded Rebel agents began arriving on world following the rumors. The world, according to Rebel Reports, has been completely subjugated by the Empire and a Naval Detachment of 12 Imperial-1 Star Destroyers.

Imperial Holonet News Organizations are reporting a major Imperial victory over the planet Cianap! Terrorists apart of the "Alliance to Restore the Rebellion" were captured off-guard as a fleet of Six Imperial-Class Star Destroyers and other supporting craft apart of the 12th Imperial Defense Fleet ambushed a formation of Rebel ships.

More and more across the Galaxy, this "Rebel Alliance" is causing more chaos for good, law-abiding Imperial Citizens. Even after the Rebel forces were sent into a quick rout it was reported that Rebel reprisals led by the wanted criminal and terrorist Saw Gerrera executed 73 Imperial Scientists and Engineers on Thyfera.

Wookiee Ex-pats across the galaxy took time this past weekend to celebrate the joy of Life Day. The holiday has spread in popularity in recent years as Wookiees spread across the galaxy, following the enslavement of their species by the Galactic Empire and Trandoshan Slavers. The holiday celebrates the Wookiee journey to the Tree of Life, and involves dancing, music, and feasts.

Following the rise of the Empire and increased Trandoshan aggression, the holiday quickly exploded in popularity as many across the galaxy use it as a way to push back against the "Time of Darkness" they now live in.

Mandalorian Forces under the terrorist Vasili Bev'miir have raided the Imperial Coaxium Refinery on Namzor. The Mandalorian terrorists part of the group known as "The Organization" have carried out a number of raids on Imperial and Hutt targets in the Outer Rim. The attack on Namzor, three days ago, marks an escalation of the conflict as these Mandalorians have raided a Mid-Rim World.

News would come out, though Imperial sources would attempt to suppress it as much as possible, of a Mandalorian uprising starting on the small steppe world of Ordo.

From what information has got out despite the attempted blackout, it seems that a Mandalorian known simply as 'Bev'miir' has been rallying and unifying the dis-unified steppe nomads. Only two days prior, an Imperial outpost was torched to the ground. Along with that, around twenty-five Mandalorian collaborators who had been assisting the occupation force were executed in the outpost. Though most of their armor was taken, helmets were left, strung up on one of the bombed out buildings with a single word written across their helmets in blood. "Aruetii"

Imperial Forces have been quick to reinforce the occupied world with another three hundred soldiers, stripping most of the Dxun Garrison to nothing. The local Sector Moff has, supposedly, been heard saying he doesn't want to force the hand of other Sector Moffs to try and come into his territory, and wants to have a quick end to this uprising.

Fallen Duchess Murdered?

The HoloNet News (HNN) has, after a needed verification period, been able to confirm that Fallen Mandalorian Duchess, and known Terrorist, Bo-Katan Kryze has been mercilessly executed by other Mandalorian forces as a battle for domination of the tribal and savage Mandalorian Society continues.

HoloNet News first began looking into the story when underworld broadcasts began airing the video of security footage and camera footage taken aboard a Mandalorian vessel where a purple armored Mandalorian, whose identity is still unknown, was seen executing the Terrorist Bo-Katan.

The Ministry for Information has reached out to the Imperial Security Bureau for a comment and have only received the following: "We can confirm the terrorist Bo-Katan has been killed and we shall continue investigating the events that led up to it."

The following is an internal document released to Imperial Army Personnel on Mimban for the purpose of record keeping. This list represents the last two weeks of reported casualties on world.

All copies of this list should not leave Imperial Army Datapads, anyone caught sending this list off world will be subject to Imperial Intelligence Interviews and potential reassignment to front line duty.

The list is 32,000 names in total with the following markings:

On a hot, windy day in the streets of Bando blasterfire quickly lit up the small mining town some ninety-five kilometers from the capital of Bandor. Rebel insurgents, dressed in rags and scattered pieces of armor attacked Imperial supply convoys bringing Ionite from the town, and providing it with vital food supplies. The attack itself saw the destruction of five armored vehicles, destroyed multiple tons of Ionite, and destroying two weeks worth of food supplies!

However, quick Imperial redeployment of air and ground assets saw the Rebels driven off, thirty-seven were killed with another twelve captured and quickly sentenced to rebuild the community they attempted to destroy. This is another fatal reminder that the Rebellion, better known as terrorists, care not for their dreams of the Republic, but instead to strike terror into the hearts of loyal Imperial civilians.

Admiral Paxton Appointed Sector Governor of the Ordo System

To deal with mounting unrest and rebellion on the world of Ordo, the Moff of Mandalorian Space has instructed Admiral Paxton, a Clone Wars hero, to put down the rebellion on the world. Along with most of the Dxun Garrison being stripped and sent to Ordo, Paxton was given three Arquiten Class Light Cruisers to assist in the task and has confirmed that he will carry out the task given, no matter the strength of the resistance, or the size of his force.

Admiral Paxton was a Clone Wars hero, who led Republic Forces during the Siege of Istic II and captured the planet despite overwhelming Confederate Forces on the planet, trying to hold onto vital mineral deposits. He was seen as a ruthless admiral, and an inquiry into his performance by a Senatorial Committee days prior to the Declaration of the New Order found he had ordered the execution of over ten thousand captured confederate mercenaries and non-droid personnel.

The following are my own notes from Session 1, this is part 1 of the notes and part 2 will come soon after.

Our players were introduced to Mimban, a war-torn muddy and wet world, plagued by war for over 20 years now. The players - a motley bunch assembled from across the galaxy were brought in with a few hundred other Imperial Army conscripts, making up the next wave in a war that has no end in sight. They first met Captain Anderson, an older man who's been in the Imperial Army too long to count. He was grim with the new prospects, telling them about the horrors of Mimban.

After a very quick briefing, he introduced Kairris, a diplomat with the Imperial Diplomatic Corps (IDC). She was joined by her aide Vlaari, a Lorridan Human, and their security droid K2K9, a KX-Series Droid. After introducing herself, she informs the arrayed soldiers that she is here on a mission and needs some extra soldiers. After looking over a few soldiers she picks out a few grunts, a Mandalorian named Paul, another Mandalorian - this one a medic - named Tarre, an older veteran sniper that had volunteered for duty on Mimban named Haro. Before departing for the Imperial bunker complex to be briefed on the mission the Captain also informed them he had orders for a Private Abel Hardy to join them. Abel was a young man, mid to late 20s, and nervous as all can be.

The party departed for the bunker, finding that while the base was staffed solely by the Imperial Army, the bunker was held down by the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. The party moved off to an empty room to begin their briefing. Kairris has been sent by the Imperial Diplomatic Corps to meet with representatives of the Mimbanese Liberation Army to broker secret peace talks. The assembled group will be escorting Kairris, and her aide Vlaari, to the location for the peace talks. With no questions, the party sets off for the frontline. Their initial way to travel is MagLev, but Imperial Reports come in that the Lev was attacked and is delayed, forced to go by speeder the group takes a rickety old piece of kit that should have been decommissioned a decade ago.

As the story of the Star Skipper is retired, a new group take their places on the galactic stage.

Braun - Kairris is a Mirialan Diplomat. Formerly a senator, she's now joined the Imperial Diplomatic Corps where she's been assigned to Mimban for a last ditch attempt by the Imperial Senate to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict that now is past its 20th year.

Vik - Vaalri is a Lorrdian Human. Vaalri is an enigma and a friend to Kairris where she works with her as her aide and chief confidant.

Jack - The lower levels of Coruscant don't exactly breed uptight, morally righteous citizens of the Empire. Kane Largo is one such individual. Brought into the smuggling game early in life, Kane found himself enlisting with the Empire following a job gone wrong on Tatooine.

Bokoen - A Mandalorian by birth, not much has been revealed by Paul Boehm on his past, his present, or how he arrived on Mimban. All he's revealed and all that is known is that the man is a soldier by trade, and he's one who's expanding his craft on the muddy world.

Schafer - An old grizzled veteran of many wars since the Declaration for the New Order, the sniper is one who had actually volunteered for duty on Mimban. Now selected by Kairris, Haro Thif has work to do protecting these younger folks while harboring some dark secrets of his own.

Swimmy - Reprogrammed, rewired, and still partially malfunctioning. The KX-Series Droid K2K9 is the personally assigned bodyguard to Kairris on her mission on the hostile world.
