and each time they return to even less. In my family 10 children suffer daily from constant stomach pain and diarrhea because of the scarce, contaminated food. With no safe food or water in sight, they desperately need help.

My family also includes 3 infants, including the youngest, baby Meryem, born just months ago during this horrific war. My sister nearly lost her life giving birth due to a lack of medical resources. She’s still suffering from severe infections because she couldn’t get the care she needed.

Since May, and because of your support my family has raised only 4,788 CAD of the 7500 CAD as first goal, and every bit is needed for food, clean water, and urgent medical supplies.

Like many other countries, this year’s winter is unbearably rains, fierce winds, and extreme cold that we haven't experienced in many years.

But the difference is that we are not in a home that shields our shivering bodies; we are in a torn tent that neither blocks the cold nor stops the rain.

Yesterday, the roof of our tent was ripped off, and water seeped into our few blankets. We shivered from the cold until we felt it seep into our bones. It was a brutal night as I held my child in my arms, searching for warmth I did not have. 💔

The hardest part is that the world thinks our suffering has ended. We are still without a home, without an income, and prices are soaring. Yet, donations have dwindled as if the pain has ceased! But it has not… We are still here, struggling to survive each day.

A few days ago, I discovered I was pregnant. What should have been a blessing has turned into a heavy burden amid these harsh conditions.

Every night, I ask myself: How will I protect this child? How can I give them life while we struggle in a tattered tent, in the freezing cold where my little child shivers, and my elderly mother grows weaker? 💔

Etaf is a wife and mother of 5 from Ghazzah. Last year, she and her family's home was destroyed, a long with her husband's source of income and their car.

They were displaced for 200 days, all the way induring the hellish tribulations of genocide. Luckily, they were able to flee into Egypt; however their struggles are not over.

Due to their lack of income, Etaf and her husband struggle to provide their children with food, clothing, and education. On top of that, they are struggling to pay the rent on their house as winter approaches.

In order to help Etaf's children continue their education and to help the whole family afford basic necessities, they need to raise €100,000. So far, they've only managed to raise €5,690 and their last donation was 18 hours ago.

My friend Ahmed's campaign to evacuate he, his wife, and his 3 children from Gaza is crawling, progress slowing and stagnating frequently after almost 2 years of relative steadiness. Just because there is a "ceasefire" does not mean Palestinians don't need your help anymore -- if/when the Rafah crossing opens, Ahmed needs to be prepared to leave AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to ensure he and his family's safety, and if they can't take the opportunity to evacuate due to lacking funds, they will be trapped in Gaza amidst active ethnic cleansing, bombing, starvation, and disease.

Prior to the "ceasefire," Ahmed had to use a lot of his already raised funds to purchase food and shelter supplies so he and his family could survive the elements. Now they must make up for their losses. He tells me that the crossing may open in March, which is only A WEEK AND A HALF AWAY!

A year has passed since the October 7 war, the Gaza Strip war. In this war, Ammar Hammad was born in harsh conditions. He was 3 months old and could not breastfeed from his mother because she suffers from asthma in the lungs and no milk comes down in her udder. There is a report from Nasser Hospital about this. Ammar needs about 10 packs of milk to help him live in these conditions, in addition to diapers and his special clothes. In addition, Ammar's son suffers from a complete tear in the cruciate ligament and cannot work. Therefore, Ammar needs your help to stay alive.
