You send people to space to save the literal entire world and you still don't trust them to dispense their own drugs

The basics of it is that for whatever reason, one of the speedsters, a random time traveler, a ghost, or because Clockwork needs Danny to learn something there, he sends him into the past and he quickly ends up meeting Wonder Woman and helping her. He decides to stay with her until he’s finished whatever mission Clockwork’s sent him on and she ends up all but adopting him.

She’s teaching him all her sword tricks and how to fight without relying on his powers as much. The end up getting closer and closer and quickly get to the point where Danny starts subconsciously seeing her as a mother figure. To the point where he accidentally calls her mom, to his eternal mortification. Diana takes this all in stride though, secretly happy that her little warrior called her mom.

Things happen and eventually Danny has to go back to his own time period and his actual life. It’s a very tearful goodbye but it ends with Diana giving Danny a golden wreath crown as a moment of her and her mentally promising to find her little warrior again. She’s fairly certain now that he’s going to be born some time in the future. She doesn’t have much to go off of but gods damn it is she going to try!

Cut to some years later and Diana has become one of the founding members of the Justice League. She still has not found her son but she doesn’t say anything to the other members because she honestly can’t be sure if he’s even been born yet. This all is thrown out the window though when one of the JL members bring up reports of this ghost boy in this little town in the middle of nowhere Illinois. She sees a picture of it an yep, that’s her little boy! He’s even wearing the wreath so that mean he’s met her! She can go see him without risk to the timeline!

She practically sprints all the way to Amity only to find that he’s not here? None of the townsfolk know anything but when she starts instead looking for his human persona she isn’t able to find anything. It’s only when she investigates his parents that she hears, holy shit he’s whimpering in the basement!? She bursts in, ready to defend her baby but the scene she come in on is worse than anything she can imagine. There, on an operating table, is her baby boy. Opened like a gods damned high school science class frog! She can see his organs and knows some of them have been removed.

“Danno!” Jack Fenton boomed, “Come down here!”

“Coming!” Danny shouted back, putting the model rocket he was working on down on his desk and walking down the stairs till he was in the living room with the rest of the Fenton family

“What’s up, Dad?” Danny asked, Jack looking like an overeager puppy—well, more so than usual, that is.

“My brother John is coming over!” Jack grinned, “You’ll like him, a good fella!”

“We have an Uncle?” Jazz raised an eyebrow, “I didn’t know Grandma Janice had a son besides Dad,”

“Your Grandmother had married an English man sometime after your grandfather died, but they’d gotten divorced, and your Uncle John had gone with his father back to England.” Maddie explained, “He didn’t ever get along with your father much,”

“But now we’ll get the chance to move past our childhood squabbles and become the brothers we should’ve always been!” Jack grinned, “You’ll love your Uncle Connie!”

“Connie?” Danny asked in confusion, “I thought his name was John?”

“John Constantine,” Maddie clarified, “He took his father’s name when your grandmother went back to her previous marriage’s one,”

“When’s he going to be here?” Jazz questioned right before the doorbell rang.

Jack sprung up, “There he is!”

Bounding towards the door, the orange-clad man threw open the front door and wrapped his arms around whoever was there in a large hug.

“Johnny!” Jack exclaimed, “How are you, buddy?!”

“Get off me!” A British voice yelped, “I can’t breathe, ya bloody idiot!”

Jack let go and a blonde man in a trench coat fell to the floor, coughing slightly as he stood up.

“Fuckin’ shit,” The man looked rough, greasy blond hair and a stubble of a beard all while smelling of cigarette smoke and faintly of alcohol.

The man glanced at Maddie, “You’re Maddie, right? Jack’s wife,”

“That’s me,” Maddie smiled as she held out her hand as he took it to shake.

“John Constantine,” He grunted, “This buffoon’s half brother,”

The man suddenly made eye contact with Danny and his eyes went wide at the same time Danny felt his core shutter.

John cleared his throat, “Guessin’ your Danny?”

Danny nodded, “Uh, yeah,”

The two shook hands, both thinking the same thought.

These are just the ones I see people egnore or forget the most often

1. danny hates Christmas and even if he mellows out he will never love it and the idea he'd visit or even willingly be around his parents that time of year is stupid they are the reason he hates the Holliday

2. danny hates toast

3. danny wants to be an astronaut he's a star nerd (but can't become one after the accident for obvious reasons)

4. tucker and val are the only ones within our main cast that have a healthy normal family, Sam's parents are overprotective and hella pushy, and Danny's parents are also overprotective and VERY self absorbed/negligent

5. tucker is a furry

6. Sam's hair is most likely died (both her parents are blonde)

7. Danny has been tortured by both vlad and Val. Canonically, he is a torture victim

8. Danny is canonically attractive, described as "cute" and "handsome." he's an outcast not for his looks but because of his interests, friends, and his parents

9. Sam is new to town and most likely only met the beginning of that year it's also implied that they have known each other since 3rd grade (but she doesn't know things about him like him hateing Christmas so I'm going with she is new)

10. Danny is a people pleaser and an empath with low self-esteem

11. In Outsiders, Pov danny is seen as a delinquent,

12. Danny is a victim of grooming and sexual assault (spectra) he is also a stalking victim (vlad)

13. Danny didn't want to be a hero but stated, "I have the power to help, so it's my responsibility." If someone is screaming for help, I can't turn away"

14. Danny isn't expecting a thank you or people to like him he's doing this because it is the responsible and right thing to do

15. Danny's crush on Palina is short it lasts for a few episodes, and he gets over it quickly it's the hot, popular crush that we all go through as teens

16. He judges actions, not looks sticks up for the Lil guy/ distrusts authority

17. His sister is the most important person in his life

18. The Fentons have a torture dungeon under the basement

19. Danny is responsible for cleaning up his parents' experiments, the lab, and the portal, and has been for years (wtf)

20. Danny likes wordplay/puns, is a prankster, and is willing to steal and manipulate if a situation calls for it or as payback

21. Danny showers after gym only when everyone has left/is shy of his body (scars/trans headcanons go nuts)

22. Danny is constantly being taken advantage of by his ruges and friends and will egnore toxic behavior/crossed lines at times to keep the person happy and avoid conflict, especially if it's friends or family

24. His ancestors were witch hunters that went under the name nightingale

25. Bloodblosoms (red roses) that are deadly to ghosts and by extention him

26. Danny is incredibly protective of his sister

27. Sam basically murdered danny with a smile on her face in the "what if I'd never met you episode"

29. Danny has an aunt from his Mums side who lives out in the country and owns a farm (can't remember her name)

A/N: Thank you all for reading Chapter 1 of my season 3 rewrite AU's retelling of Urban Jungle! I'm proud of how this chapter turned out as set up for the subsequent chapters, but also as a fun series of sequences and reimagined scenes on its own. I've been haunted by this AU of season 3 and the AU version of this episode for years, and I hope this first chapter has sparked everyone's curiosity about where Danny and Danielle's story will go from here.

Maddie Fenton is called to the school by Danny's teacher. The reason? The teacher thinks Danny has problems because he draws questionable things and talks about dead people that he can see or whatever and also too about having an uncle who looks like a vampire that devours/eat his ghosts friends

Maddie looks at the drawings, but she doesn't see anything strange or alarming like the teacher makes it seem.

Maddie: mmm okey....

Teacher: I think Danny should see a psychologist, Mrs. Fenton and bla bla bla

Maddie stops paying attention to the teacher talking, since something among her kid's creative drawings has caught her attention.

I recently received the Gorillaz almanac and it included an illustration of Noodle reading her own book, and I couldn't stop thinking that I needed to do this
