I just wanted to tell you how much I love it. The way you write Sidney's and Geno's grief about losing Mack, and now how you wrote Mack feelins throughout his childhood and adolescence. It just feels so intimate, I just love it.

I cannot wait to read how Mack finds out. I am so nervous about that, but, I am sure I will cry (I am a crier🥹🥲)

Currently hard at work on the next chapter (in which we finally get some Mack pov). I'm hoping to get it up before Monday so keep your eyes peeled. Here's a little sneak peak while you wait :)

The first time Macklin Celebrini realised he was different, he was five years old.  He'd always been aware that he was 'special', that Mama and Dada had 'chosen' him, but he didn't really understand what that meant until his mama was pregnant with RJ. Mack was struck by a thought he hadn’t really had before, "Mama?"  "Yes, pup?" His mom brushed his hair out of his eyes. "Was Aidie in your belly too?" His Mama's face fell slightly. "Yeah, he was honey." Mack tilted his head to one side. "And baby Charlie?" "That's right." He frowned, "But not me?" Mama paused, shaking her head sadly. "Come here," she patted the space next to her on the couch. Macklin clambered awkwardly onto the seat. She pulled him towards her, wrapping her arms around him and pressing his head against her stomach. Mack could feel baby RJ shifting under him. "Once upon a time," she whispered, like she was reading him a bedtime story, "you were in someone else's belly. Like Charlie and Aiden were in mine. And that person, your other mama, loved you very much, and your other dada loved you very much too. But they couldn't look after a child, so they did a very hard thing and said goodbye to you. And they said, 'I want my pup to live with the best family you can find. ' And they found us. And we love you so so much Mackie. Just because you were grown in someone else's belly, doesn't mean we love you any less or any differently than the rest of your siblings. You are our pup, Macklin." She pressed a tender kiss to his forehead. "Nothing will change that." "I love you Mama," Macklin mumbled into her shirt. She kissed the top of his head again. "I love you too pup, more than you'll ever know."
