no I am not "ontologically evil." this is a practiced skill that I actively fostered, it took work to get to be this evil, stop discrediting my efforts.

“we shouldn’t be holding indie creators to the same standards as bigger media“ i agree on principle but like this only seems to ever come up when the indie creator in question is being racist for some mysterious reason. So

Five Geek Social Fallacies
As history/drama repeats itself in niche hobby circles and subcultures, I find myself turning back to the Five Geek Social Fallacies, a blog post written by Michael Suileabhain-Wilson in 2003.
I've run a lot of tabletop games, RP games, and other nerdy hobby groups throughout the years. I've both seen these behaviors before and I've been one to suffer from these fallacies, myself. (Personally, I'm a frequent sufferer of #1 and #4). But I feel that the more we're able to recognize these sorts of behaviors, the more we can work to mitigate them in our own spaces.
For those who have not seen the article, you can read it at the following link below:
A lot of paranormal believers would actually benefit from reading about how hallucinations are much more common than you think and don't necessarily indicate that they suffer from a Scary Brain Disorder. Anyone is 2 sleepless nights away from a hallucinatory episode no matter how neurotypical they are
Also like hallucinations cover a broad swath of different sensory experiences, not only seeing a scary ghost. In my case my hallucinations tend to be auditory but it is also possible to feel like something touched you. Sleep paralysis hallucinations aren't paranormal happenings that's literally a type of hallucination and EVERYONE has them they're super common. Take my had. You have nothing to lose but your chains
And btw people who suffer hallucinations as part of a disorder aren't scary or dangerous. Neurodivergencies that include hallucinations don't make people scary psycho killers. Lose the stupid stigma already it's 2026 bitch
Auditory hallucinations happen when you hear voices or noises that aren’t there. They have many possible causes from both temporary and chro
Are extremely common and usually not a sign of anything deeper. As in
Researchers estimate that 5% to 28% of people in the United States experience auditory hallucinations. They’re the most common type of hallucination.
