#i was feeling depressed today so i just decided to sit down and try my luck to relearn the song #obviously my hands are really rusty #but it took me so little to remember playing the melody with my right hand #i still remember how yo play the full thing #the chords on my left hand however #took me a bit to figure out the chords i used to play but. after like 20 minutes only i figured out like 80% of the song!!!!#the end i still have to figure out #i love reminiscing about playing my favourite parts of the song #that felt so good man #ive missed this?? like way too much??#that was way easier than i thought?? to figure out the chords of the song #i used to just practice this song unending #countless times #that definitely helped with my muscle memory #I still haven't figured out all of the song yet but omgomgomg i just needed to share it #AHHHHH IM SO HAPPY #star's yaps

#star's yaps #i stopped piano classes at the start of the year cause im getting busier this year #but mannn its so hard to play and commit myself to learn a song without my teacher :(( she was the best #like she genuinely has seen me thru my different phases of piano #like there was a point that i found no interest in it and i didn't like piano at that time #but she allowed me to learn any song that i liked #i chose a song #then i started to learn to love piano againn #i have songs i wanna learn #i wanna relearn the songs i haven't played on the piano in a while #i literally have my piano keyboard in my room. i can play it whenever i want #its just so hard to self learn ╥﹏╥#especially cause im a traditional taught student #im not used to learning songs via yt tutorials im used to slowly learning songs weekly by sight reading the music sheets #uaghhg whenever i stumble across a video that has like a gorgeous piano composition it takes me back..#like. i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVEEE piano compositions that you have to FEEL to play it properly. to make the pianist FEEL the song.#i love love love songs like that #i wanna play and pour my heart out again #i hope i can do that soon
