I am the most normal one here.

I like to go out. Nova loves exploring, and I enjoy walking around. We've started attempting bird watching yet neither of us actually know any birds yet. It's still fun. I like going out for walks, exploring the city and stopping at various bookstores and cafes along the way.

I try suprise them with a trip to somewhere they've never been (perks of magic) at the end of days like these. It's turned into a game of them trying to guess where we are as fast as possible. (The record is 1 minute and 43 seconds but I think finding a newspaper is cheating).

Honestly it took a while for us to become friends. Nova's not exactly an extrovert and I'm even worse. I rarely try to get to know people or make friends. We didn't talk much initially but we kept running into each other. Each time they were really sweet and seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing. I really liked that.

I think the first time we properly hung out, and the first time I realised I did actually want to be part of novas life and get to know them better was in the mines. They'd come down behind me without me realising and we ran into each other on floor five. We ended up heading down together. It was really fun, despite our awkward attempts at conversation.

After that we ended up going mining together a few more times. One day I let slip how excited I was for the rain tomorrow and they did not stop pestering me about what I was doing. Turns out we both love the rain. We spent a good chunk of the day together wandering around and getting soaked lol.
