I am reading the One Piece manga. I am having fun, although I have noticing an issue I always had with the online shonen battle manga community: equating character strength with writing quality. This is bad because it discredits the weaker characters that still contribute in their own ways.

99 percent of the top 100 posts from September 12-21, 2024, were left-leaning, yet the American right-wing won the popular vote, every swing state, and both chambers of Congress. Reddit is that detached from reality.

For comparison, despite what leftists will claim, Twitter/X was the most ideologically balanced platform last year. No social media will perfectly reflect real life, but Twitter/X still does a much better job at that than Reddit does.
