Yeah, you can still be in the fandom after the drama, if that’s what you’re asking. Just don’t financially support the game.

Writing fanfic, talking to Dandy’s World fans, theorizing/analyzing lore, drawing characters, making animations, etc. does not financially support Qwel. Qwel only gets money from people playing the game, buying cosmetics, and buying merch. For this reason, I recommend you entirely stop buying cosmetics and merch from blushcrunch.

As for the game, with the way Roblox pays creators, you can play without them getting paid. “Creators earn 5 Robux each day if their experience is one of the first three an Active Spender plays for 10+ minutes.” this means if you play 3 games for ten minutes, Dandy’s World won’t get paid. Also, if you’re not an active spender (hasn’t bought robux in 2 months) you can skip this.

If you're in the Dandy's World fandom, you've probably heard about the current controversy surrounding Qwel.

A few days ago, I made a post sharing my thoughts on the situation. At the time, I felt that Adam's video was misleading, and while I believed Qwel should have removed R*x sooner, I thought she had apologized and that the situation was being brought up again without much reason.

Since then, more information has come out.

This morning, I read Joji’s document. The allegations described in it were honestly disturbing to read. According to Joji, Qwel allegedly mocked victims, pressured developers to stay on the team, underpaid developers, dismissed people's concerns, and continued supporting R*x. Joji also described being guilt-tripped into staying on the team during chemotherapy, being told to stop complaining about being doxxed, and having personal struggles laughed about behind their back. As a result to all of this stress WHILE fighting cancer, Joji was hospitalized multiple times and struggled with suicidal thoughts.

If these claims are accurate, I find them deeply upsetting. My heart goes out to everyone who was hurt by R*x or by the environment described in the document.

That being said, I am still confused about some parts of the situation. A lot of information seems contradictory, and there are many claims that either lack evidence or directly conflict with other claims. Some people say Qwel didn't know what R*x was doing and removed him once she found out. Others say she knew, but was manipulated herself. Others claim she knew everything, didn't care, and remained friends with him privately.

At this point, I don't feel confident enough to say which version is completely true. There are too many contradictions, too many interpretations, and too much misinformation being spread around.

As for my current stance, I am remaining neutral.

This does NOT mean I don't believe victims. I believe the victims who have come forward about their experiences. What I'm uncertain about are some of the disputed details regarding Qwel's knowledge, intentions, and actions.

For now, I will not be purchasing merchandise or cosmetics from Blushcrunch Studios. At the same time, I will not be spending my time constantly attacking or defending Qwel. Instead, I plan to step away from the discourse until more reliable information becomes available.

Dandy's World has been my comfort fandom for nearly two years, and I don't want to spend all my time surrounded by negativity and arguments while the full situation is still unclear. For now, I'd rather focus on Art Fight, my personal projects, and the things that make me happy.

If you want to learn more, please do genuine research. Do not listen to what your told from others, get information directly from documents and files made by victims.

VEE ITA PURSE WOW. I am actually really proud of this. I spent like three hours on it lwkyyy. 🥹 I got the pouch with the ribbons on it from Daiso, the beads from dais, the keychain (first pic, I added rhinestones) from Daiso, the strap from Daiso, and three rolls of rhinestone from Daiso for 30 dollars! As for the rest, i bought the enamel pin from the Dandy’s World website and printed and made the pins with my pin maker. I made the pink background from an old pajama shirt (it’s leopard print, it’s just hard to see) and the side ruffles (also hard to see) from the same shirt. I tried sewing the white ruffles with a cut up white shirt, but it didn’t work so I just scrunched up and cut an old laundry net and glued it on there. The stars were old hair clips I had from last year.

They'll be like, "Oh yeah, Vee's really good! But you NEED these specific trinkets, you can only do the first 5 machines near the elevator because it's too dangerous to leave, and you should just spam your ability instead of actually playing the game" even though she's literally the fastest non-seasonal extractor in the game. Like, Vee is NOT that hard. Just play her like any other extractor.

Her low stealth can be compensated for by being more aware of your surroundings, communicating with your teammates, having a consistent distractor, and avoiding common distracting areas. On top of that, her active ability literally shows you where Twisteds are. That helps you locate the distractor, avoid danger, and speeds up the gathering phase—which is usually the most dangerous part of a run anyway, since the distractor doesn't have every Twisted grouped up yet.

And don't even get me started on the speed argument. Pink Bow raises Vee's running speed from 22.5 to 24.2. That's already fast enough to barely outrun Pebble and Glisten. If you can survive at 25 speed but not 24.2, what are you doing? 😭 It honestly surprises me how many people never actually calculate what their trinkets are doing. And if 24.2 is somehow still too slow for you, Clown Horn + Ribbon Spool puts Vee at 13.75 walking speed and 24.75 running speed.

Or, and hear me out, you could just play well. Manage your stamina. Don't sprint everywhere. Only run when you actually need to. Pay attention to your surroundings. Don't start beef with your teammates. Be patient and know when to hide. Use your active to track Twisteds and your passive to find machines faster. Also, Vee is a Main Character with some of the hardest unlock requirements in the game. You need 100% Twisted Vee research, Brightney mastery, and 4,750 Ichor. By the time you've unlocked her, you should already have a decent understanding of the game's mechanics.

Genderfluid means someone who (frequently) changes gender. So if I am currently feeling like a girl, I am lesbian. If I am feeling like a guy, I am straight. If I’m non binary, I’m trixic.
