My Oasis

Lu Han said nothing, just stared at the way Jongin looked so broken, so confused, and he wanted, so desperately, to hold onto the irrationality that had almost ripped them apart. Things can’t be mended, he reminded himself, playing the image of Jongin kissing her in his head. Once broken, somethings could never be repaired, and their friendship, his feelings for Jongin, was one of those things.

“Because,” he spat, fingers curling to form angry fists, “Because you chose her over me.” He remembered how Jongin had left him on his own just because of a phone call from her, how he had never felt so alone in a crowd of people, and how it all had changed because of a disgusting infatuation, a pretty face with smiles which never quite reached her eyes.

“It has nothing to do with her,” Jongin immediately said, frustration sinking into his bones as he met Lu Han’s taunting gaze, “Leave her out of this.”

Lu Han laughed - it was a detached, disturbed laugh - and he laughed until he could taste salty tears. Then, it all came crashing down.

“Nothing to do with her?” He echoed, “It has everything to do with her! She ruined this, we both know this, she ruined us.”

I don’t know why, but somehow all of that is attractive. 

I’ve lost sleep, money, even my academics over you. Don’t even get me started on how many times I procrastinated over you. OTL You’ve taken over my life, and my perspective on pretty much everything. AND IT’S OKAY. I wouldn’t want it any way else.
