Starting a new job is scary, it's always scary. But starting a new job in a big city that you don't know that well is scarier.
You meet your new boss perry white and he shows you where you will be working it's a small desk with a calender a computer and a phone.
You sit your stuff down trying to settle into your new position as an assistant.
"Oh my word" you hear a familiar voice say.
You look up and see your ex boyfriend clark kent.
"Clark?! What are you doing here?" You ask genuinely confused.
"Oh I work here what are you doing here" he says walking over to you
"I work here silly I just started this morning" you say smiling when a women a bit shorter then clark appeared.

You smile unaware the turmoil you caused.

LOIS POV
For weeks I've been jealous of clarks ex girlfriend she's really sweet and nice and that's so annoying.
She's just so ugh.
How else can I describe her other than ugh.

I am so jealous of her.
Clark has been reassuring me that she and him are over and they have been for like 5 years but I can't help it.
I've stalked her socials, and hell i even dream about her.

God she makes me so upset.
It's date night tonight and all that's in my head is that stupid perfect girl.

CLARK POV
Date night with lois should be fun.
Should be.
But lois has it in her head that i still have feelings for (Y/N).
I'm worrying about her mental state.
She's spiralling and I'm worried she may even get her fired.
A few hours pass after date night clark and lois head to clarks place and he begins going down on her.

The next day at work clark and lois both avoided you.
During lunch you go to clark

For once robert is silent.

If you do come back I promise yo never ever hurt you like that again. Because the last month has been one of the hardest times of my life so please please come home."
You look at robert tears in your eyes you don't know what to say so you just hug him.

A/N: I made this because I've got a stomach flu and it sucks and I want clark to look after me.
Sleeping peacefully in clarks arm you wake up to a weird gurgling in your stomach. You sit up clarks arms still holding you tightly you rush to the toliet and as you arrive in the bathroom you feel the contents of your stomach emptying into the porcelain bowl.
You shiver as you sit trying not to cry as clark walks in.
"Hey baby, you ok? What's going on?" Clark asks wrapping you up in a blanket holding your hair back
"I don't know just woke up cause I needed to vomit" you say wiping residue off your face.
Clark investigates the toliet making sure there isn't any blood in your throw up.
"Oh honey" clark says rubbing your back.
You nod as he pulls you into his arms
"Clark I've vomited three times" you say and he only smiles at that
"So what im still gonna hold you" he says and you stare at him
"What im not gonna get sick" clark says
You smile at him only to push off to vomit into the toliet again.
"That's it honey, it'll be better in then out" clark says as you glare at him.
You wipe your mouth and stand up
"I think that's it" you say laying back in bed with clark.
You wake up a few hours later running to the bathroom you vomit again.
Clark Rushes in after you
"I think I have a stomach flu" you say and Clark nods holding you in his arms.
"I'm gonna have to starve today" you say and Clark looks concerned.
"Baby starving yourself isn't good" clark says
"Clarks it's for one day to stop vomiting" you say as clark tilts his head like a confused puppy.
"Oh right just to stop vomiting I was really worried about you for all minute there that you were just not eating" clark explains and you smile at him.
"Okay that was the last of it I promise" you say as you lay back down knowing you only have an hour left to sleep you go back to sleep.
Waking up you look at your alarm clock.
11.30 am.
you slept in.
Fuck.
You glance at your bedside table "called your boss took the day off for you, just rest ill be back soon just figuring out what to do in smallville love you" the note reads
"He went to smallville really that's so clark actually" you say sitting up and staring at the wall.
After two hours clark returns holding a bowl
"It's for vomit" he says gently sitting down next to you. You nod as he explains everything else he has.
You kept fasting and then 14 hours after you last vomited you realised you could use the brat diet also known as bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast. You mention this to clark who instantly goes to make you toast bringing it through with a glass of ice cold water.
"Here ya go my pretty girl" clark says as you eat the toast slowly.
"This is the best toast I've ever had" you say and Clark laughs knowing you only mean it because you were starving.
You and clark sleep through the night.
When you qake up you realise that you hadn't vomited.
You shake clark awake
"Wake up clark wake up" you say and he wakes up
"What's wrong" he sees startled
"Oh nothing I just haven't vomited" you say and he hugs you
"Oh honey that's so great maybe just take today and see how you feel"
You smile at clark and spend the day in bed cuddling.
"I wish this was my life" you say and clark smiles attempting to hide thought he wanted to voice for years
"Me too" he said quietly.
You smile back greatful for such a loving partner.
