You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how

Sometimes I just look at you and realize how lucky I am for having you.

I’m so homesick, and nothing but you feels like home.

On days like this one, where my mind feels like it is at war and it feels like my world is doomed, you are my Peace Sign. Your presence is like a sunrise in the midst of war, always there to remind me that there is always something worth living for.

Almost. It’s a big word for me. I feel it everywhere. Almost home. Almost happy. Almost changed. Almost, but not quite. Not yet. Soon, maybe.

You are the rest I need in this busy and exhausting world.

There was something beautiful about the way he breathed as he slept in the dark, and some nights, when my thoughts were filled with nothing but the demons of my past, I would count every breath that he took until the world and the demons faded way, and all I could feel was the warmth of his body embraced with my own.
