“If it’s alright with you, sure,” Stepping into the apartment, Calum scratched the back of his head and took his shoes off at by the door. He hadn’t meant to crash at the Terrans’ house on short notice. He had just been walking, well…who knows where (anywhere but home) and then realized they were in the area. Following the other dad to his kitchen, Calum leaned against the counter.

It looked like Clay too, was bitten by the twilight blues. With all the chaos that had happened- Faith going missing, moving to a smaller apartment, dealing with his in-laws, it all came crashing down tonight, leaving an empty man just lost in his thoughts, left to look at the city go by outside his window. 

Perhaps some company would do them both some good.

It’s been….a week.

Klavier usually isn’t that affected by his work (at least outwardly so), but this has sort of been a week from hell. Between cases and other paperwork, Klavier’s been more stressed than usual.

So much so that he’s collapsed onto the clearest space he can and drifted off, looking a tiny bit like a hobo that’s decided to squat in the cluttered office for the afternoon.

Who’s there?

Your local astronaut, back from his exchange program in Russia. 

He had decided to come in unannounced- surprises always made for better reactions- and Klavier was next on his list of people to visit. Gift bag in tow, he walked down the now-familiar hallway, a pep in his step and a tune on his mind, before peeking into the ajar door of the office.

...Oh.

Clutter was everywhere, strewn and tossed about on a level that felt... abnormal, even for Klavier’s usual standards. Quietly, he stepped into the room, tip-toeing wherever his foot could find an empty spot. 

A few minutes later, he was cleaning up the mess which was clearly trash, leaving the important stuff with legal jargon virtually untouched. (He learned his lesson from last time.) Ten minutes after that, he was sitting on the floor, leaning against a filing cabinet and playing mobile games on his phone in complete silence, save for Klavier’s hoodied, softly-breathing form right next to him.
