After finishing all the story lines of Mystic Messenger, I have decided I love Jumin Han the most ๐ Iโve seen other artist draw their MC being with their favorite character so I wanted to do one too.
The posing is from the Nisekoi manga when Chitoge runs to Raku. In case anybody thought it was familiar ๐

So in my music history class we started learning about the Classical era and I was super excited about it mostly because I would get to learn more about the actual Mozart. It is so cool to me to get to see the connection between his real life and the Classicaloid TV show. I just love how the creators of this show added little things here and there that connect it to actual history. I wish I could be that creative. ToTย
Anyways, because I wanted to do this for my own satisfaction, I wanted to put the connections online for others to know about so that they might find a deeper connection to the show like I have and have a better appreciation for the thought put into the showโs ideas. (Plus I donโt know if anybody else has done this. If so, check their stuff out too!)

Episode 2: Get it! Musik!
Pad-kun states that Mozart liked pervy sweets.
ย Although I could not find anything stating such a thing, he did in fact like scatological humor which he would address to his cousin Maria Anna Thekla through letters. Whether their relationship was sexual or not, it is really up to the reader to determine how they were towards each other.
Episode 7: Mountain King
Motes has flashbacks of his relationship with his mother and takes on a mother persona to a deer who lost its mother.ย
Mozart and his mother were sent to Paris in February of 1778 by his father, Leopold Mozart, who was in Salzburg at the time. His mother grew ill and died shortly after in June. Though his father never fully put the blame on Mozart for her death, he did say Mozartโs indolence, lying and improper attention to her added to it which he stated through the letters they would send to each other. Mozart did his best to defend himself.
The Requiem Motes plays in the show
This piece was one of the last works that Mozart wrote before dying on December 5th 1791. It was actually an unfinished piece only going from the Kyrie through the โConfutatisโ. Mozartโs wife had to hide the fact that the piece was unfinished to (possibly) still get revenue from it, but eventually over the years, historians found out the truth. Composers since then have taken their own approach of how it might have ended if Mozart got to finish it.ย
Episode 12: J. S. Bach
Motes had issues with following the orders of the companyโs rules and not being able to perform how he wanted and having flashbacks of his past employers pestering him on being in debt.ย
Mozartโs finances were unstable and he was in debt all the way up to his death, but it wasnโt bad enough for him to still live luxuriously. His wife eventually paid off the debt possibly through the income of his music and benefit concerts.ย
As for Mozart wanting more musical freedom, he did reject court musical life and disliked his employer, Colloredo, at the time he worked in Salzburg. He performed halfheartedly until he could get out of his contract in 1777.

As a music major I am totally in love with this new show! It takes everything in me not to talk about this to the other music majors because they arenโt really into anime but I really really really want to tell them because I feel like they might like it as well just because it has to do with music. But I have told two of my music professors and they think itโs weird but cool at the same time ~(^-^)~

I should not be drawing in class :0 Anyway I love stories where the main guy is like an outcast and he turns out to be like the greatest person ever. Yamada is by far a favorite character of mine and I cannot wait to see what more is in store for him :)
As a music major, I love reading stories that are centered around music. Your Lie in April is one of the greatest stories I had the pleasure of reading and gave me a new appreciation for music ^-^
