Star Wars fact #230
The lyrics of an Alderaanian nursery rhyme, "Mirrorbright", refer to a moon, even though Alderaan had never had a moon. After the destruction of Alderaan, Leia wonders if the children of Alderaan saw the Death Star and were excited that the moon from the nursery rhyme had appeared.
Hey, uh, did Leia ever tell Luke that she was adopted?
I mean, we know that she knew. In the ceremony to acknowledge her as heir to the throne of Alderaan she used phrases specifically for adoptive children (Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray), plus she looks remarkably unlike Jimmy Smits.
However, it wasn't super publically talked about. In Alderaan, your adoptive parents were your parents. People didn't care who physically made you, it mattered who raised you. It's also a weird thing to bring up right after your parents have died.
All Luke knew about her was that she was a princess, which would typically indicate that she knew who her parents were. One of them had to have been alive up until...
In fact it's unlikely Leia didn't at least mention the fact that both of her parents had just died. Luke was probably fully aware that she knew the identities of both of her parents, and he probably had no idea that they weren't her biological parents (again, weird thing for her to specifically bring up right after they've exploded).
I know there was some Force Stuff™ at play here but idk it's just a weird leap for Luke to have made.
"You have a sister who is also the secret child of Darth Vader", "oh, it must be Leia, who almost definitely knows who both of her parents were."
Which brings me to the conclusion that this was Luke's entire thought process
Help! Can you tell me what the blue lines of light are on the panels around the strategy center on Yavin 4? The ones that people follow perhaps to track ships during a battle? They are very visible in ANH when Leia is in the strategy center listening to the attack on the Death Star, I just can’t figure out what they’re called!! Thank you for your help!!
So I have to assume you mean these lights, and to be honest I have no idea! I'm not even sure they necessarily have a name. Anyone have any clue?
this is making me S C R E A M

George Lucas: I know in A New Hope no one believed in the Jedi or the Force, implying that the Jedi were a secretive few who most didn't know about, but I'm sure no one will notice if the prequels establish the Jedi as having been a large and extremely well-known organisation just 20 years before A New Hope.
Dave Filoni: well in Revenge of the Sith it was clear that Anakin had never met General Grevious, so I must go to absurd lengths to ensure they never meet in The Clone Wars.

Hey bea: what’s the best obscure Star Wars fact you know? It can be something extremely trashy and corny
they accidentally had c3p0 say “die jedi dogs” in the clone wars movie but forgot dogs dont exist in star wars so they had to invent dogs
James Earl Jones once traveled across the United States and used his legendary Darth Vader voice to talk to truck drivers on his CB radio… but it freaked them out so much, he had to stop doing it. Source
Many of the elaborate background “sets” from the original Star Wars trilogy were actually just detailed oil paintings on panes of glass. Source Source 2 Source 3

Queer Star Wars character #1
Kaeden Larte
Notably appears in: Ahsoka (novel by E.K Johnston).
Race: human.
Pronouns: she/her.
About:
Kaeden Larte was a farmer on the moon Raada, where she took part in a failed uprising against Imperial forces when they attempted to establish a base on the moon. Former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who had been befriended by Kaeden whilst in hiding on Raada, rescued her from the Empire and later from Sixth Brother, an Imperial Inquisitor seeking to lure Ahsoka into a trap. Kaeden was resettled with the help of Senator Bail Organa and expressed interest in joining the rebellion against the Empire, but not before disclosing her romantic feelings towards Ahsoka. Her attraction to Ahsoka was further confirmed by E.K. Johnston, the openly queer author of the novel, who tentatively describes Kaeden as bisexual or pansexual, and broadly refers to her as queer.
This series seeks to highlight the same-sex attracted, asexual/aromantic spectrum, and sex and/or gender diverse characters seen in the canon Star Wars universe. It will only feature characters who are confirmed to be LGBTQ+ in either the canon material they appear in or by creators. Queerbaiting, queer coding, and Expanded Universe characters will not be included.

Oscar Isaac confirms that Poe loves Finn and that he ships Stormpilot harder than we do.
I love it when people ask shit like “Which world would you rather live in? Star Trek or Star Wars?” When like, Star Trek takes place in a world where mankind has erradicated diseases and war and explore space to make contact with new civilizations, and in Star Wars everything is old and dusty and every 20 years a new angry white man murders half the galaxy.
