Big Lore Drop because I have decided to get hella serious about Sammy here again. SO PREPARE FOR A FULL RUN DOWN OF THE DIFFERENCES WITH THIS BOY: Sam Winchester. Scholar. Hunter. Alleged boy king. Freak. Boy with the demon blood. All names that Sam would eventually be known by. After being infected with demon blood as a baby, Sam started to change in ways that no one would consider normal. Small outbursts as a child that John would try to conceal even from Dean. Sam would have odd dreams, see things that would come to fruition or places he had never been. Young Sam Winchester thought they were just dreams. Or that his imagination had run rampant. It wasn't until the death of his girlfriend Jessica that he would come to see these things as omens. The dreams were no longer just dreams. Over the years his powers continued to grow, brought into action by Azazel. Premonitions, telekinesis, crippling headaches. Sam still somehow saw them as a blessing because it meant he could save more people. He tried to save the special children when they were all trapped. He even ran with them for a little while to try and keep them safe before ultimately he was killed by one of the ones he so badly wanted to trust. He had thought he was dead. He was dead. Until Dean brought him back. But the problem was he came back but not quite himself. His powers were out of control. He felt off. Like he wasn't supposed to be alive. Little changes continued to add to that. Flickering black eyes, occasional fangs, the desire to attack. Somehow, Sam had come back wrong. All seemed manageable until Dean was dragged off to hell and then Sam went off the deep end completely. Opening himself up to demon blood consumption changed something in him. His body needed it. Not just craved it but NEEDED it. He tried to quit a few times but the relapses were so bad that they nearly killed him. Sam learned to manage it, only needed a little to survive as opposed to being addicted or getting a high off of it. Rather, it served to help his powers and keeping them in check. This is a story almost akin to the likes of Pet Sematary's quote of: Sometimes Dead Is Better. Or Azazel's question to Dean of: Are you sure that what you brought back is 100% Sam Winchester. A play on a what if scenario and making this reboot of Sam mine and mine alone. I hope you will all join me in making this little story the best that it can be.
