I think I’m hilarious huh

[Graham Skipper:] Jeffrey was actually there opening night, along with Bruce Abbott (Dan Cain), Barbara Crampton (Meg Halsey), and Brian Yuzna (who produced the original film), so it was a real treat to be able to meet him and chat with him afterwards. He was very nice and said that he loved it - which of course was a huge compliment - but did offer me one small note … He said, “When West is in his basement laboratory, loosen your tie a little bit.” It was a great note that I of course took! He also said it was wild to see so many of the lines that he and the rest of the cast helped develop while filming be immortalized in a musical, and of course to see other actors playing their roles, but with our own spin on things. All in all, he said it was certainly surreal but really fun to re-live all those moments. The honor was definitely ours, though!
