Does he know her well? He does, in some respects. The two of them used to be coworkers, back in the day, before some... strange things went down at the office, sealing it from the outside world. Stanley still doesn't know exactly what happened, but he knows that it involves the Narrator and the Curator, possibly even Mariella, and she was a coworker too. He suspects that this is some kind of experiment going on, but he has his doubts about who is involved where. He's pretty sure Thursday doesn't know, though - in fact, he's sure he- she knows less than he does.
He also knows that Thursday is his only real friend. He'll talk to the others in the office, but not the same way he and Thursday have talked. With his friend gone... it's like dying all over again. He needs his friend back, and he's not going to let anything - or anybody - get in his way.
Stanley sends another message, even as the monitor is blinking off and on:
That sounds like her. I know her well. We are very good friends. You say she is around here somewhere. Where? In this office?
While Stanley and Thursday are busy talking, Timmy is busy picking insects off the growing vegetable plants and trying to appear invisible to everyone else. That hasn't worked so far and so there's no reason for him to believe it will now, but a guy can still try, can't he?
When Vimi comes over, he gives a small smile and a wave. "It's- It's all right. Apparently a lot of things scare me, or so I've been told," he says, trying to make light of his own skittish personality. Being around the Days has helped him in developing that particular skill - making light of things and pretending they don't otherwise bother you, until they really don't bother you anymore.
"I've seen some of the flowers you brought," he says softly, gesturing at the area where Vimi and the Days planted the flowers from Vimi's world. "They're really nice. Pretty."
Vimi is looking at all of the flowers now that Timmy has mentioned them again, and they're just as enthralled with them as they were when they first grew them.
"They're super nice! Aren't they? They're soo pretty! They pollinate well too! Very yummy! I love em! We have a ton of them back home!"
Vimi continues on and on and on and on... for a while about this. They'd only stop when someone tried to say something to them.

Vimi continues poking their non-existent head around the computer, finding even more things to do with it. Volume, unplugging and plugging in wires, taking off the plating on the side, and some more. When they get the message from Stanley, they read it out loud.
"That sounds like her. I know her well. You at she is around here somewhere. Where? In this office? Yeah! Somewhere in the office! Maybe the garden! Oo, I know she likes the garden! I like the garden. You might like the garden. Do you wanna go look at the garden? We might find Thursday!"
This office has a garden? Stanley can't remember the last time he saw a garden. He's not certain he'll be able to see one now either. If there isn't enough shade outside, he won't be able to come out. He has to try, though.
He messages back:
Yes, let's go there. I can only be in the shadows, so I'll try to follow that way. If I can't, then I'll have to stay here.
If Vimi leads the way, Stanley will follow, sticking to the shadows as he said. For some reason - that he doesn't understand - he can only manifest where it's dark. If there is too much light, he isn't able to move into those areas. As he follows Vimi, he occasionally pops up under desks and dark areas behind doorways, yellow eyes watching closely for where the headless creature is taking him.
Outside it's another story. From the positioning of the sun, there isn't enough shade close to the garden for Stanley to be able to go there. He does find a tree that's more or less nearby and manages to pop up over there, and watches the people who are in the garden. He can see a brown-haired woman wearing glasses, and... a young man who looks like a ghost. Both are unusual - the ghost for being, well, a ghost; the woman for strikingly resembling Thursday. It's uncanny - that has to be her.
He waits, however, for Vimi to introduce them.
As Vimi walks to the garden, they watch Stanley jump from shadow to shadow. When it finally clicks in their little hivemind that he can only move in the shadows, Vimi tries to help by making their shadow as large as possible. This slows them down considerably, but as long as they think they're helping, they're happy.
When they get there, they try to puff themself up even more by dispersing the bees. If this works or not, is up for debate, but they did do this either way.
"Hi Thursday! There's a shadow guy here who wants to meet you! Or see you. They have really yellow eyes, and can only be in the shadows! They're cool. I like them! Do you know them?"
Vimi talks as energetically as usual, almost with different sounding voices. Obviously, they don't have that, but wouldn't it be cool if they did?
Vimi's shadow does help a little bit. Stanley is adept at moving through shadows, but moving through shadows in an unfamiliar area is a bit trickier. It's a little bit like hopping through puddles after a rain - some are easy to jump between, others are further apart and take more effort, while others are impossible to reach without turning around and finding a different path.
Thursday and Timmy are both in the garden when Vimi arrives. The young ghost has gotten over Vimi having no head, although it still is a bit off-putting to him. He remains quiet while Thursday greets Vimi.
"Hey, Vimi! A shadow guy?" Thursday looks up and puts a hand up over her eyes to block out the sunlight. It's a warm day, and with the sky ads inoperable now, the sun is shining down on everything below like it's making up for lost time. She spots the shadow man. "Huh. I've never met a shadow person before. Did he say what he wants?" she asks, a little bit more cautious than she'd have been months before because now she has her baby to worry about.
Stanley waits patiently in the shadow under the tree - as patiently as he can. He's terribly anxious right now. It isn't until Thursday stands up from the work she was doing in the soil that he sees her pregnant belly and he is taken aback. Is that possible? For Thisday to transition and then get pregnant? By whom?!
His shadowy little mind fills with questions as Thursday hikes over to greet him. "Hello!" she says, giving a small wave. "I'm Thursday. I don't think we've met before."
Ah. Well that explains everything. Sort of.
He searches for any electronics on her, locates a phone, and sends a message through it.
Puzzled when her phone goes off, Thursday retrieves the phone from her pocket and reads it.
"I don't think you are the Thursday I'm looking for... Apparently there are more than one of you. I'm looking for a man named Thursday. We're good friends. How did this happen?" she reads, showing the message to Vimi if they're curious. She then shrugs. "There's a whole multiverse thing that I'm guessing you don't know about. Haha. I can explain that to you if you like, but as it is, we do have a Thursday here who is a guy, but- he's sort of missing right now."
Vimi listens into the conversation, most likely trying to understand what's going on. After they finish what they're talking about, Vimi tries to think about something. That thing being if they've seen the male Thursday before. As they try to think on this, they see the small ghost that they've met before, and run over.
"Hi! Hello again! Remember me? I remember you! You're Timmy! I'm Vimi! Sorry for scaring you last time! I didn't mean it!"
They continue saying things at Timmy rather than to Timmy, because Vimi is not the best at starting a long term conversation.

There is something watching from the shadows. A pair of glowing yellow eyes may be seen before quickly ducking back into the darkness and disappearing momentarily. Slowly, though, the eyes come back out, blinking. Whatever it is, it seems shy.
@the-haunted-office
Vimi is doing whatever they do while the eyes watch them. Currently, Vimi is finding out that you cannot unscrew screws without a screwdriver. They're trying very hard, but it just doesn't seem to be working. When they give up, they stand up, and turn towards the shadows. They then see the eyes.
"Whozzat? Who're you? Nice to meet you, shadow eye thing! What's your name? Your eyes look cool!"
They seem to defy all usual judgement of being scared of the glowing eyes in the dark, and instead greet them openly and with high energy.
Stanley, realizing he's been caught, ducks away quickly again, but figures there's no point in staying hidden now. He doesn't like being here. He doesn't like being anywhere, but especially here because it's unfamiliar. It's familiar, but unfamiliar. It's... uncomfortable. But necessary. He will overcome that discomfort for his friend.
He stares at the small person or whatever they are, trying to figure out how to communicate with them. Being unable to speak can make things difficult; not being able to sign because he's a shadow and this other person might not know sign language anyway only makes things trickier. He can't tell if they've got a phone on the them or any other kind of electronic device, so he does the next best thing and sends a message through one of the nearby computers.
A computer turns on suddenly, and green text marches across the screen. If Vimi doesn't notice, the shadow will do his best to gesture at it.
The message on the computer says:
I'm looking for somebody. His name is Thursday. Do you know him or where he might be?
Vimi watches as Stanley decides to not hide himself, although to Vimi, there's not much to hide. Just some eyes. When they see one of the computers flash on, they turn around and carefully inspect everywhere but the screen. After that, they look at the screen, and try to tap it. Once that doesn't work, they finally read the text on the screen.
"I know a Thursday! She's not a he, though. She's a she! Unless you're talking about another Thursday. How many people decided to name their kid Thursday I wonder? That's a hard question! Anyway, I know a Thursday! She's usually around here!"
They continue prodding at the computer, and eventually press a keyboard key. They play around with the keyboard for a while, then turn back to Stanley.
Stanley is a little bit confused by this at first. This short little humanoid thing with a scarf knows Thursday, but he's a she? Having not ever met any alternates of anybody, he comes to the only logical conclusion that makes sense to him - Thursday is trans. He didn't know that about his friend. He's perfectly fine with that, of course, he's just going to have to remember to change the pronouns he uses.
He pushes another message through the computer.
Where is she? Can you show me? She's been missing from our office for a long time and we are worried about her.
The shadow then waits among the other shadows for a response, yellow eyes watching quietly from the darkness.
Vimi continues typing on the computer random gibberish. They've just discovered the enter button. While they hold it down, they accidentally go past Stanley's message, but they quickly (and thankfully) discover the backspace button. When they reach the message, they read it, then respond.
"She's around here somewhere! Do you know her well? I do! She's really nice, and sweet, and gave me her hoodie, and, and, she helped plant a bunch of flowers with me!"
After they respond, they figure out how to turn the monitor off and on, and proceed to rapidly do so, to Stanley's potential annoyance.

what are some of the benefits of being. a hive mind. do you get extra energy? are there any drawbacks 😵
i am sorry ☹️ were you being silenced? were the powers that be not pleased with you speaking of this
Nobody's silencing me! Although I'm not usually comfortable with telling just anyone I'm a swarm of bees. And yeah, I have plenty of energy! Almost never run out. It's also always fun!

d o y o u e v e r f e e l l o n e l y ?
No, not really! There's plenty of bees that make me up, so I'm never bored or lonely! Who are you, by the way?
sometimes I wonder if my notifications are broken?? like I check if there's a reply I received and there's one from days ago I never saw
"Hello, mister! I'm wandering through this office! A bit lost! Could you help?"A short, headless humanoid approaches Bradley. They are tugging on his shirt.
"It's very boring here, but the people are nice!"
They seem to be... buzzing? At least a little bit. Not computer buzzing, but, like bees? Or maybe you're hearing things
@stanbeeparable @neverendingparable (I think this is how asks work)
Bradley startles a bit at the sudden voice right next to him, dropping his permanent marker in the process. He’s been busy doodling smug cat faces on all the paintings in the hallways he’s currently in, his way of making the place look more friendly.
He takes a second to stare at the person who just approached him.
“I- yeah, isn’t it kinda hard to see where you’re going without any eyes?” He blurts out. “Are you trying to leave? Good luck with that buddy. I’ve been here for a decade, there are no exits. Only endless maze of hallways, death traps and the occasional alternate dimension!”
Bradley glances at the lights above them, wondering if they might burst with all that buzzing they’re doing. Slowly he realizes that no, the buzzing is coming from in front of him. Or at least it sounds that way?
He rubs at his ear absentmindedly.
“Yeah, sorry pal. You’re probably stuck here with us now. But it’s not so bad. Better than paying taxes, eh? Hey, I didn’t catch your name.”
stanbeeparable:
Vimi joyfully walks down the hall, with the usual energy as you’d expect. They have their full trust in Bradley, expecting him to know where to go. When Vimi hears a question about the buzzing, though, they slow down a little bit. What makes them come to a halt is the mention of being…
“Filled with bees? That’s.. haha.. silly! Of courzze I’m not filled with beezzz! Funny joke, right?”
They’re buzzing very aggressively now, although it very much doesn’t seem intentional. They’re visibly panicking.
Bradley side eyes them, his expression clearly not believing their attempt at damage control. But he can tell they’re getting upset over his question so he simply shrugs and laughs again, playing it off.
“Yeah, it’s a joke! Imagine being filled with bees, heh. Probably impossible!”
He decides not to mention it again but he will definitely keep his eyes out for any bee related fuckery.
Soon he stops in front of a door that reads 417. It looks like there’s a whole room behind there but when he opens it up, there’s another hallway.
“Ta-daa! This, my friend, is a random portal! It connects Offices to others! We’re about to enter the Office of one Dad!Jon, who is a former Narrator. A bunch of my friends live at his place though.”
Vimi seems relieved that their supposed damage control worked. They calm down, buzz a bit less, and continue walking. When they come to the door labeled 417, however, they "look inside" (or the closest you can do with no head). When the door opens, they seem confused.
"Woah! How does that happen? It's like a room over here, but it's a hallway here! That's really weird! But cool! This place is cool!
They seem to take in the other things that Bradley said, but doesn't comment on them. Instead, they grab Bradley by the arm, and walk inside. (It's the highest they can reach, they're not very tall.)
Thursday and Doomsday come running up to Vimi grinning broadly.
"Vimi! Come look! The seeds we planted are sprouting!" Thursday says.
@parables-for-days
Vimi seems to be staring at a wall absent mindedly until this news comes to them. When it does, they immediately jump in excitement. They run up to the duo.
"Already! Yay! It feels like it's been no time! Let's see them! Go go go!!"
This is almost the most excited and loud and buzzy they've ever been. And most certainly the most buzzy and loud they've been around Doom and Thursday. It's almost as loud as their own talking.
Once they see that Vimi is covering up their drawing, the Days step back to give them some space. They don't like it when people hover over their shoulder either.
When Vimi presents the drawing, though, Thursday says, "Oh that is so cool! Why do they wail like that, though? Are they low on the food chain or something? I've never heard of a flower that could yell! Actually that reminds me of this homicidal plant in a book I read once, called The Ruins. There was a vine with red flowers that lived on this one hill in... I forget what country... but it could make noises that imitated sounds, even human voices! Excellent book, but ah, pretty gory, so heads up if you don't like that sort of thing."
"Do they not like it when you try to pollinate them?" Doomsday asks, also amused by the idea of a flower that can scream at people.
"They do it to keep away an invasive species called Echosies! They find food and hosts through vibrations in the air! They're super interesting, but are damaging to a lotta crops."
"And they're fine with bees, if you're careful. And! And the next flower drawing is..."
".. the prismatic dandelions! They're so super super pretty! When they first bloom, they're so pretty in the sun, nobody can help but pick one and blow the seeds from it everywhere, creating a mini light show and spreading it's seeds! Some say that the fact nobody can resist them might be a special evolution.. but that's just an old mantis's tale! I think."
The Days continue to goggle at Vimi's descriptions and drawings.
"Oooh, that is really pretty! I can't wait for those to bloom! I'll bet that makes windy days very interesting," Thursday says.
"A special evolution, eh? Like intentional? Would make sense for getting their seeds to spread, wouldn't it?" Doom suggests. She's been to many different dimensions and worlds and lives but she's never seen anything so different as these flowers. It's nice.
"Are there lots of old mantises in your world, Vimi? You know what? Now that Earth has changed, not only do we get to name all the new things, but we also get to collect information on everything and make a new encyclopedia! Maybe you could help with that."
"Maybe intentional! And the Mantises were not very common, but they were old! And knew a lot! Like a lot a lot! Once they predicted a Wasp invasion to the hour!"
Vimi seems to very much enjoy reminiscing over their past, for better or for worse. They go on about how the Mantises never seemed to get older, or how there always seemed to be 29 of them, or how the Wasps never broadcasted their invasions... it was a lot. Eventually, Vimi comes to some kind of conclusion.
"... and that's why the Queen always has 2 Mantises by her side! Anyway, uhhh, what was I talking about? I forgot..."
They perk up at the idea of writing an encyclopedia.
"Ooh! The Queen always used to write the encyclopedias! One a year for updates to the law! It'd be so cool to write one ourselves!"
As Uni is resting wherever she is, a short, headless humanoid walks up to her, wearing gloves, arm warmers, long pants, and a trench coat. They are also wearing a honeycomb-pattern scarf.
They're full of energy, and practically buzzing with it. Or, maybe, they're actually buzzing. They are buzzing. Kind of loudly. As they speak, their voice sounds generated. Or synthesized.
"Hi! Nice to meet you, pink person! I'm Vimi! I'm also lost! Do you know your way around here? And what's your name?"
Each word seems to be somehow more energetic than the last. It's clear that Vimi is excited to meet new people.
(@stanbeeparable)
She jumps and looks at Vimi. “Oh..! My name is Uni, and I do believe that I’m lost..” Her voice seems to get softer and softer as she speaks, as if she’s a wind up toy running out of power. She looks quite frightened.
Vimi notices that she jumps, but doesn't give it much thought. Rather, they don't think about it at all. They're not very good at social cues.
"Nice to meet you! Let's be lost together! Where do you wanna go? Or I could pick! This place is sooo big! It's really cool!"
They go on and on about how large this place is, but do eventually stop. When they do, they seem proud of themself for having talked for so long, and they buzz proudly.
She stares at them like they’re talking a different language. She starts mumbling:
“Well, I guess you would know this place better than me.. You can choose..”
She avoids looking at Vimi, and instead fidgets with her collar, not wanting to engage much in conversation
After Uni finished her sentence, she was immediately being dragged by Vimi towards a door.
"This way looks fun! I think there's some games this way! Like Plinko! A friend showed it to me!"
Vimi is buzzing still. Not particularly a different volume than before, but still noticable enough for it to be audible
She flinches at the sudden touch, but she seems more interested by what’s behind the door.
“Games..? Plinko..? I don’t understand what those are..”
She looks utterly confused, but she decides to trust in what Vimi says, surely they mean no harm.
Luckily for Uni, Vimi means the opposite of harm. In fact, they just wanna make a new friend. They continue dragging Uni with relative ease, and eventually, they get to what looks like a moving lift.
They quickly drag Uni on, and drop down to a hallway that has two colored doors. They go through the blue one. Inside, there's various games and attractions. Horse Plinko, an Eeby Deeby Simulator, whatever that is, and in centre stage, an arcade machine with "Street Fighter" written on the side.
"Look at this place! There's so much to do! Do you wanna try the Plinko? Or! We could play street fighter! I dunno what that is, but we could play!"
Vimi seems breakin beaming with excitement to play with this new friend.
She takes a few seconds to examine the room, making sure that nothing was going to harm her, before she answers Vimi.
“What’s plinko..? Is it a game..? I want to play..!”
She seems excited at the idea of playing something with her new friend, and her eyes light up.
Vimi excitedly shows Uni horse Plinko, and how to activate it. A lever, and a score display. Simple as that.
"So you pull this... and the fake horse falls down into a point spot! It's fun! And funny!"
They pull the lever, the horse falls into the 300 point slot, and they get really excited and jump around. They then offer the lever to Uni.
She watches the horse in awe, and she smiles when it reaches the point spot.
“Oh wow.. Plinko seems fun..!”
She takes the lever and pulls it, excitedly watching the horse fall into the 100 slot
Vimi buzzes, seemingly replicating laughter. They pull the lever once more, but hit the zero slot. They're a bit disappointed, but still happy and having fun.
"This is fun, yeah! It's your turn! Go for the 500!"
They step aside, and offer it to Uni. They seem to be excited to see Uni's next attempt.
She smiles, and takes the lever. Despite pulling with all her might, it still hits the zero slot.
“I believe this machine may be cursed..”
She looks upset, and ready to cry.
Vimi continues bouncing around, until they see that Uni is about to cry. They slow down, and walk over to her.
"Hey, don't be sad! It's a game of luck! Do you wanna try something else? There's plenty more to do! We could try Street Fighter!"
They attempt to comfort Uni, but still buzz and jitter around a bit.

Thursday and Doomsday come running up to Vimi grinning broadly.
"Vimi! Come look! The seeds we planted are sprouting!" Thursday says.
@parables-for-days
I think."
that sounds amazing. what kind of diet was. it 🤔
was it sugary. was it spicy 🤔 was it full of vitamins and amino acids. did it help. grow brains that could. think in one mind for a time
you can not just leave me hanging with an unfinished story 😢😔
Sorry, sorry!! I didn't mean to leave you hanging!! My apologies!! (・o・;)
The diet was a different kind of fruit that usual. Blueberries and acai I think it was! They were kinda nasty, but they worked! I miss whatever kind of apples we used to have... they were nice. But the acai was nice too!
