I feel this. The older I get, the more I consider building a tiny house of my own somewhere that's not too far from convince but still quite. Something just big enough to host a few friends for dinners or bon fires. Somewhere surrounded by natural beauty. Nothing too big or flashy, just cozy. I think I'm okay with living a small life too.
(And environmentally sustainable)

I only watched the first half of the the first episode of squid games and decided it wasn't really for me.
BUT, when I was at the bus terminal yesterday, these 2 highschoolers were playing the game that the main character plays in the train station (hitting each other's folded paper squares till they turn over) and it occurred to me that this show will probably be a HUGE deal. I even have elementary students playing the games in school.
Considering the show has only been out for a week, it's kind of crazy how fast it's penetrated the mainstream in Korea.

Oooof, when someone makes a whole ass 20 minute YouTube video about how bad they think NoEasy is and their most scathing point is that "the lyrics don't make sense and I can say that because I'm a Blackpink fan"
It's like, sis, you wouldn't be able to perform an adequate lyric review because you don't have any practice. Leave that to the professionals!
The lyrics are insane and it's not SKZ fault your monkey brain is incapable of deciphering the doubles meanings and workplay.
Like I actually cackle when people don't understand the whole "I'm not sorry, I'm dirty" lyric, like it's right in front of you! They play dirty and don't follow the rules. They spell it out in the song!!! Are you listening? That parts all in English too.

If anyone ever asks you how bangtan sonyeongdan becomes BTS, here's how you can explain it:
Bangtan Sonyeondan in Hangul is 방탄소년단 and if you take the first 3 starting consonants in the first 3 syllables, its ㅂ ㅌ ㅅ which, when romanized, is BTS. The ㄴ ㄷ is left off, in my opinion, for aesthetics (imagine their name being BTSND... not as cute or pleasing to the ear/eyes)
So yeah, understanding Hangul really helps understand kpop on a deeper level, even outside of lyrics.

Wow, all it really takes is being with someone who kisses your forehead and tells you that your beautiful and kind to realize that every person you've ever been with before was either selfish or just mean.
Han Jisung is literally one of the most talented idols in all of Kpop! His vocals GO OFF and his rap is amazing! He can dance really well too! Oh and he writes and produces? Like, he really is something special.

Bullying
I can't believe I have to talk about this again, but here I go.
So some ILAND bs is being spewed again on Twitter and to absolutely no ones shock, people are dragging K like he's public enemy #1. Recap, he's not.
So, how does that relate to bullying? Well, let me tell you. People's #1 complaint about K is that he "bullied a minor" which isn't true in the least!
First, let's define bullying. Bullying is described as REPEATED, TARGETTED harassment or violence. Last I checked, K never once singled someone out and repeatedly harassed them.
Second, K did get angry at Niki but for good reason. Niki wasn't acting like a team player. K acted as the more experienced adult in the room and gave Niki guidance. That guidance was pointed and strongly worded, but thats not a bad thing. Niki then proceeded to ignore that warning and do his thing in front of sungduk. And guess what! Niki got scolded AGAIN for the SAME THING K warned him about and then K also got scolded as well because he was leader. So yeah, Niki needed to be scolder and K had to take on that responsibility because he was the leader.
And also guess what! K and Niki are fine! They love each other like brothers. Niki cried and hugged K like his life depended on it till the very end. You have no right going around accusing K of being a bully and victimizing Niki when neither of them have issues! You're fabricating reality to fit your own narrative and it's not okay. GET OVER IT!
Y'all are projecting your insecurities onto all the other Ilanders, going around posting everyone was terrified of K. Yeah no, they loved K! It's just you that would have been afraid of someone older and more talented than you showing up and showing off. It's not K's fault that he's talented, attractive, tall, and athletic.
