had a thought.
personally i see anyone likely having a hard time in recovery, if they never define themselves as anything other than a trauma victim. i see in more often in OEA spaces, the idea that you can't be anything more than a victim. that you can't redefine yourselves outside of being a trauma victim.
do yall have any thoughts?
i think the black and white thinking of the system community, especially around taboo topics involving trauma and such, is one of the main reasons why systems become radqueers.
here's an example: let's say there's a system, jimbob system. and they desire to have more trauma.
this is a perfectly normal thing to desire, even though the concept of that desire is taboo. it's common especially among trauma survivors who were manipulated into believing their trauma wasn't that bad.
there's group A, the average system community. if the jimbob system voices how they feel, the jimbob system is likely to be met with hostility and social ostracization. if not downright fakeclaiming the jimbob system.
then there's group B, the radqueers. radqueers pride themselves on radical acceptance. so, if jimbob system tells such desires to the radqueers, those radqueers are likely to accept jimbob system with open arms and no questions asked. they might even suggest the label of "transtrauma" a label where it can be used to conveniently find other people who feel like the jimbob system.
now let's say the jimbob system encounters group A first, and then group B. group B, the radqueers, are more than willing to provide comfort and share their own stories of social ostracization. they bond with jimbob system and do not judge jimbob system.
and again, please remember that wanting trauma is a very normal response in a lot of trauma survivors.
the point of this post is to directly criticize the system community, absolutely. the way i've seen systems handle these taboo topics, i really don't agree with. i do believe that how it's currently handled leads people to becoming radqueers. everyone desires social acceptance, especially social acceptance of such vulnerable things.
i could go on about how for the jimbob system, they could be manipulated into doing worse things. but that's more focused on radqueers, and i'm criticizing the system community right now.
in conclusion: the way the system community handles taboo topics is done very poorly and leads to people seeking acceptance from risky groups. i think there should be change in how the system community handles taboo topics, such as wanting more trauma.
Although I'm glad to see mixed origins systems generally recognized in syscourse more recently, I have a more specific subset of mixed origin systems that I would like to hear more from/about!
Mixed origin CDD systems, whats something you wish people knew more about mixed origins and their relation to disordered plurality and CDDs? Or something you wish more people knew about system origins in general and their relation to CDDs? Even just something that you wish people knew more about CDDs or mixed origins on their own!
I want to hear more experiences from the systems that I hear least about!
that our splits are a mix of both functions! we are spiritual and traumagenic, and so sometimes we get spirits to help us out with stuff, or a spirit comes here because we sent out a call intentionally. some of our traumagenic alters also became spiritually oriented because of our gateway! alice is connected to the multiverse and she is also traumagenic! i think its cool that the origins are fluid.
our amnesia also doesnt really register with the spiritual parts. they have full access to things others would not, and they become more monoconscious than polyconscious.
we are also diagnosed DID, with our therapist recognizing our spiritual origins too :) i think thats pretty cool

if you have endogenic origins, that it's totally possible to and fine to use that to help recover with your CDD.
as well as mixed origins =/= traumaendo
and also like. if someone isn't spreading incorrect information on CDDs and trauma, they very likely know themselves very well and use their specific labels for a reason

My CDD and plurality, at least the start of it, came from trauma, but not all my plurality is purely trauma based. People seem to forget Mixed Origin systems can have trauma, and disorders from that. We aren't talked about enough. Even when people do speak of us, they despise us as if we don't deserve to exist. Some Mixed Origin systems use multiple labels of endogenic, some traumagenic, but many of us are TraumaEndo. We deserve our spaces to and nobody talks about us because it seems to be a "Us v Them" mentality on both sides, while we're stuck in the middle, and we're grouped into things that don't make sense-
We can be endogenic. We can be traumagenic. We can be traumaendo. We can have DID, OSDD, and other CDDs. Stop pushing us from spaces we should be allowed to be in.
are you??? well, you know?
I have no idea what this means so I'll say a bunch of things...
Trans? Yes!
Gay? Yes!
A system? Yes!
Supportive of willogenic systems? Yes!
Plotting world domination? Nope!

That being mixed origin doesn't mean endogenic.... like they're not the same at all

One thing I wish folks knew more was that, for most CDD Mixed Origin systems I know, we all deal with trauma and flashbacks to our experiences. Some of us more than others, but we all are still a CDD system. We still have our symptoms, regardless of whoβs fronting.
warning for a "narcissistic abuse" believer in the syscourse tags btw. stay safe cluster b syscoursers and don't feel bad because of these assholes

i provide: sysidecourse, a side syscourse tag that does directly talk about syscourse, but side discussions of it (such as fatphobia, and intersexism in systems!)

completely guffawing. the end of endos is near. oh no. the anti endo pretending to be pro endo fears that the end of "true pro endos" is near.
like pro endo dino's only posting this cause the one person's come out with potential information on them being anti endo and just generally bigoted. and that makes this post even funnier.
anyway make the right choice and laugh at these "anti willo pro endos" cause god damn do they make it so easy
They worded this like a republican π
'created plurality is cruel"
my friend subspace exists because we wanted hir to exist. so shi does! and we love hir.
ive seen way more people be cruel to new alters who split traumagenic wise, because they don't want that alter to exist. compared to created headmates and willomancy, in which you gotta want that headmate to exist for it to work.
i don't see the cruelty of it.
also related to the fatphobia stuff, it's like...
an example would be if someone broke their leg as a fat person. yes, maybe putting too much weight on it due to your extra fat might harm it more, but if the leg is broken, losing weight won't fix the broken leg. you gotta, you know, heal that broken leg? and if a doctor was told by someone "hey i think i injured a limb of mine trying to exercise" would it be right to just tell them "lol ur fat go lose some weight first eat less food next time do some runs" or would it be right to go "well let's see if it's broken or sprained"?
like obviously, there might be more complications in some ways, but there are MANY problems that exist out there that are completely unrelated to your weight, and some people are gonna be naturally skinnier or fatter than others. discriminating them based on those traits is fatphobic. i don't care how much you go "nuh uh they just need to eat healthier or go on a diet or exercise more" that doesn't stop it from being less fatphobic. that doesn't suddenly make fatphobia not real, because you in particular don't believe in fat people's experiences.
one post of many you can find searching about fatphobia here:
like... you aint changing my mind. fatphobia exists. sorry 2 tell u
as a personal experience with fatphobia in my past: i have been denied breast reduction surgery because "you can lose weight and theyll get smaller" despite them being the Same when i was at my lowest. they wanted me to lose a HUNDRED pounds (which wouldve made me quite a bit underweight)
so yes, fatphobia is real and its loud for people. i have been treated kinder now that i've lost weight compared to when i was heavier
also, i have pcos and medications! my weight is out of my control if i'm not on a very strict, unhealthy diet
(the comment from chaos-in-one was on my other post but putting it here)

A late update on the whole Syscourse troll thing. Pro endo dino posted a response where they denied involvement and said that they believe the goal of the βleaksβ was never to expose anything, but to target and attack her.
And honestly considering the supposed leaker has zero proof tying Blue to the screenshots and refuses to provide even the slightest bit of evidence towards the screenshots even being real, I completely buy the harassment theory
You can buy. I don't.
Pro-endo-dino blocked me anyways, so I can't see what was posted there (well, I could, since my main is not blocked, but I blocked them on my main to not block evade).
Like, yeah, when nicknames are completely blurred, we can only guess whether it's true or not. But Yuki's story makes more sense to me. Blue being an anti-endo in disguise is just... Very, very likely.
Also considering how eager was Blue to claim that disagreeing syscoursers harass them. When they were going around to comment on pro-willo posts which had nothing to do with syscourse. It happened on my syscourse-free blog, they just came on my pro-willo post to accuse me of... Let me check notes...
Yeah. Destroying pro endo community. By supporting created plurality. Exactly.
Blue also has a history of faking screenshots to prove their point. They are less trustworthy due to this. Also, when would a person in fault immediately admit that allegations against them are true?
So, I have more reasons to believe Yuki rather than Blue and their system, until other things come up.
I repeat: Until Other Things Come Out.
I have much more reason to believe Yuki too considering just. like, Yuki is actually admitting her faults.
Yuki has admitted that shes sent anons and done rude stuff, admitted that shes been anti endo and is trying to learn, and admitted to sort of letting things happen, but the thing is shes actually trying and is honest about making mistakes and learning
Pro-endo-dino has done literally none of this, proven that they aren't trustworthy by faking screenshots, and rarely ever admitted fault
you can have more than one dissociative disorder, especially in cases of DID and DPDR.
DPDR just usually wouldn't be officially diagnosed because it's considered redundant if you already have a DID diagnosis.
severe derealization, depersonalization, and severe dissociative amnesia, are both their own disorders and part of disorders like DID.
i understand the frustration of those with disorders that are not complex dissociative disorders, tumblr tags can be hell.
i'm just also saying that people with DID aren't exactly using the tags wrong.
perhaps, if it doesn't already exist, actuallydpdr could be a thing?
