Is it tough living with a roommate when you are married?

I’m sure it would be for some people, but we love having Lulu (@lechatboheme) around. :-)

1) We live in New York. EVERYONE in New York who isn’t rich and doesn’t want to live in a shoebox has a roommate. We wouldn’t have been able to afford our lovely, comparatively spacious apartment for as long as we have, without her help!

2) Casual nudity is fine and we’re not self-conscious about sex. If you don’t have to be embarrassed that someone might hear you in bed, and no one ever has to wear pants, that’s really key.

3) We’re basically family. And we share a lot of the same interests. And we like the same TV shows. And we like cooking for each other. And shouting memes at each other. And we take care of each other’s pets. Since we’re all crazy busy and life has been so stressful lately, on a global scale, having extra emotional support from people you trust who’ve already seen what you look like when you’re ugly-crying is a GOOD thing. <3 <3
