I can't shake the thought that in the chapter Stormy Night, Kara could have called the police when she saw Todd abusing Alice (despite her canonical avoidance of the fact that Alice is an android). She could have noticed the red ice in that house even before that, and that's already a reason to call. She can order a part for a dishwasher without Todd's consent, but she can't call the coppers… If she has such an open will before deviate, being able to call law enforcement when needed seems like a fundamental part of an android's code.

The more I play DBH (I've already clocked 80 hours on Steam), the more I realise how this game deceives. It's built from beginning to end on huge conditions, and that's a bit sad, but on the other hand, it makes me think about many things.

And it's quite sad how Markus and Kara's stories demonstrate these conditions the most. It's hard to grasp Markus's personality, and at the same time, the game takes away Kara's personality. I really love this girl, but she too stubbornly follows the task of protecting Alice. Kara continues to follow the programme even after deviancy, and she has no questions, fears, or doubts (at most, she turns away from Alice if she finally realises she's an android, but that's something you have to work towards for a long time, and generally, the player has no choice in that situation). While Connor has a measured development as a person, and Markus has it, Kara was deprived of it.

SO Connor as Jon Snow. i really think he is belong to House Stark bc his appearance & impassivity. he is also straightforward and stubborn, which is inherent in the Starks. oh, well, and winter in Zen garden amusingly echoes the motto "winter is coming". his stay also seems uncomfortable among both humans and androids, and Jon Snow is always uncomfortable due to the stigma of a bastrad, and they both want to prove to the people around them that they mean something and are up to the task. and i see Hank as Lord Eddard Stark: most likely, he is not Jon Snow's biological father (i hold the theory that Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark), but he is definitely important to him, just as Hank is to Connor.

Kara as Daenerys Targaryen. Kara's hair colour is a variative but me & my gf prefer white and it's like a classic valiryan. Dany and Kara are very similar in their desire to protect, to have a family. they're both ready to fight for the sake of loved ones, to make concessions to one degree or another. sometimes I'm inclined to the theory that Kara is rA9 (I'm a little bit delulu, please let me be that), and if we pretend that this is rlly the case, then it matches the theory that Dany is the Promised Princess and the Azor Ahai. also i see Alice as Missandei bc Kara care about Alice and Dany care about Missandei. and as a funny detail, Kara goes through a deviation during a heavy rain (haha, heavy rain is mentioned), and Daenerys is nicknamed Stormborn bc she was born during a storm.

oh and yes it's connara headcanon's. i began to imagine it bc me & my gf talked and in one moment i kinda "ohmygod snowstorm and connara so similar and it's so funny ha ha i wanna dbh × asoiaf crossover"

bonus: Markus as someone in House Martell. I'd say he's got a lot of Doran and a lot of Oberyn, but he's neither one nor the other. he just has some Martell vibe: "unbowed, unbent, unbroken". Dorne was the only one of the Seven Kingdoms to retain its independence, thanks to the steadfastness of the Martells. Markus is defined as a prince or smtg like that. and, as the blood of House Martell flows in the Targaryen dynasty (thanks to the marriage of Daeron II and princess Miryah Martell), this means that Connor (who takes the place of Jon Snow, whose father is Targaryen) and Markus in this AU are very distant relatives, like a canon same model line (RK200 and RK800)
